Coach Marty Secord has been reassigned and Cooper is in the market for a new head football coach for the second time in less than two years. :(

Actually he said that he'd be surprised if it was true when we saw the first posts on the littleswc site. But, it's true! I hope we can find a good coach who wants to get this program back on track.

It had to be done. I hate it for the man, but it had to be done for the kids. We went from back to back champs to winless in district in less than two years.

Even if a change was necessary, this is not a good day. Coach Secord is a great man and it will be tough to lose somebody with his character. Hopefully the Coogs can push through this.

If he's still with us - bring back Ray Overton. If he's passed on - no joke intended - he was un-paralleled with that program.

Whats going on with Abilene Cooper? is it because of the money situation or they trying to get a better football team to beat Abilene someday? :rolleyes:

Whats the whole problem with Abilene Cooper team? I am sure the Coach put this in situation with Cooper.

Believe it or not Cooper leads the overall series with the Abilene High Eagles, 30-15-1!;)

Cooper principal Gail Gregg was the one who fired Secord (though he probably didnt act alone). These are the reasons he gave...

Finally! Now well finnally see the cougers B4 they got that sorry couch. But you still wont beat Abilene High. 3 time in a row District title next year!!!
