Okay well....based on what i saw from them today against Lamar they didnt like that strong of a team....yeah it is tv but im going to have to say Pearland wins this one big. But who knows...this is the playoffs, anything can happen.

Pearland wins... The run attack + defense is too strong at Pearland... Also after watching the Lake game, it must be their year

Taylor has tasted from the playoff cup... and I think they like it... If Pearland doesn't come out and make a hammering statement fast... Taylor will believe they can win... and that is a very dangerous position for Pearland to be in...

I'm not sure why everyones talking about the only way that Taylor can win is if the Oilers look past them. The Mustangs have some serious athletes out there on Kingsland, they've had them for a while, but unlike previous years they have the coaching to put the kids in a position to succeed now. They were a few dropped balls from being up big at the half vs Katy. Better execution on two or three plays would've given Taylor a win IMO.

I think Taylors a solid team and they can take Pearland down to the wire. I'd venture to say that Taylor is the best team that the Oilers have seen this year other than Deer Park.

Taylor might just be peaking at the right time. Pearland will be the favorite in this one but I think that is just how Taylor wants it. Very impressed with what Taylor has done to this point. Regardless of who wins this game, they lose the next week big.

I think everyone in the 17-5A district is shocked that Blue Taylor has made it this far, but glad they have. We beat them 35-0, around mid season, convinicingly. They barely made the playoffs. But, their coaching staff has them believing they can win at this stage, not just thinking they can. Big difference, when you have that type of mentality. I'll be there to cheer them on this coming Saturday, at 2 and Katy at 7. Of course, will be at our Cinco game on Friday, 6 p.m., at Delmar. No matter what happens next week, 3 teams from Katy have never made it this far in the playoffs in the same season. Good luck to all of our boys in 17-5A!!!!! You're all making this community proud.

The Taylor Mustang Fans are alive and well. Our outstanding coaching staff will have the Mustangs ready to play. The tough district play in 17 5a has prepared us for the run we are currently on. We are playing our best football of the year at the right time. We are looking forward to another great challenge against Pearland next week....

I believe Pearland will dominate Taylor, no offense to the Katy fans...But I can see the Oilers going out there and making a huge statement that they are undefeated for a reason

Both teams are here on a wing and a prayer so it's hard to look past ANYTEAM in the 3rd round. Taylor has 2 playoff wins after barely making it to the playoffs and Pearland is here because the worst thing that could possibly happen for Clear Lake to lose that game happened.
I say Pearland comes out on top....but don't look past a scrappy Mustang team.
