I think you have to put Arlington Lamar at the top of this list.
Followed by Ike and Trinity in 5A and Calallen in 4A.

Arlington Lamar 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 hell the last 30 years. Peach is one of the most winningest coaches with out a ring.

Plano East has to be one of the best schools to never win a title. They have a lot of talent but can never seem to get it all put together. I hope that Ringo will work out and stay for a while. I think that East is a prime example of a program that has underachived due to constant coaching changes.

With the exception of 1994 PESH has never been close to winning a state title. Thye have never made it out of their region, so I dont think you can put them as one of the best programs to never win a state title. Lamar, Ike and Trinity have all made a title game and numerous regional and semi-final apperances.

East has been opened a long time over 20 years, West is going on 7 years

I think I read a thread like this earlier this season. I will say Abilene Cooper - twice in the title game with two great teams and came up empty both times.

SV has been close recently, programs such as Arl Lamar, Ike and Trinity have been coming close for the last 30 years.

I won't say SV because they've just done it recently.

They're not 5A but both Calallen and Childress have 50 playoff wins under their belt and neither has a State Championship

They both had long-time coaches with a bunch of wins.
