View Full Version : Have any of you guys heard of this kid?
His name is Storm Burgess, he moved in from Texas about two months ago, to Russell High School up in KY, which is the high school I go to. He probably didn't play 5A ball in Texas, because it was a school in Corpus Christi that I hadn't heard of before. Anyway, he was very good for us in the few games he played, especially on defense. We got thumped by Belfry, Kentucky, a school located about one mile from the West Virginia state line, 42-0, a few days ago, which ended our season at 7-5. They were the top ranked team in our class. It was only 15 degrees Farhenheit at game time, which added on to the absolutely horrific game that we played, made life miserable for us. He played great, though. He got around 11 tackles. After the game, two or three of the seniors were so mad, that they didn't even ride back with the team. We had a very down year. But, lucky me, I still have two years to play and try to win a state title, while Storm's football days are likely over.

He played for Aransas Pass, a 3A team from south Texas near Corpus Christi.
