upon entering the board today i notice at the bottom of the main forum page that it's our little d08's 16th birthday. Everyone in the metroplex watch out, d08 on the road might get ugly...

here's the foolproof plan:

just continously demand rides places, and change times, changing arrangements etc. etc. until they realize that life will be so much easier if they let you have a license. if they just refuse to give you rides, then say its for school, or band, and that they keep change arrangements. just make them fed up, until they realize how joyous it is to let you drive yourself

i have faith in you

I remember when I started driving. I was but a wee lad of 10 or 11. Dad would let me drive the old F-250 up to the gas station. It was about 3 miles from the farm. I felt like Mr.Man then though. I also got to drive around out at the fields and stuff. It sure made a difference though. Now, I have no issues pulling a trailer. Or backing it up. As far as just driving around though, I think it had made me pay more attention to the road. I am a very aggressive and fast driver, but I'm pretty safe about it.

Anyways, happy birthday dude.
