Trinity/AMC Amc in a shocker. They are the sleeper this year.
WF/Judson Pick 'em. 1 month ago I would have said WF by a lot.
SLC/Plano SLC by 48. Can they be stopped this year?
Lufkin/CC CC will win in a heartbreaker with 4 seconds left on the clock.
Katy/CF Katy by however many they want
SV/Madison SV by more than the last meeting. This is where the Rangers show Texas what they have.

I have 1 problem with each poll and here they are.

Calpreps does not rank teams until they've played 3 games, so he doesn't come in with a preconceived notion about the team. I like that. The poll works well when you have teams from various areas playing each other. The poll never does a good job for Houston teams because they ONLY play each other. They go by cumulative performance for the year and that's good.

Jerry starts each team off with a certain rating and it looks like he adjusts the next week based upon the last week. The initial rating goes a long ways toward a team's final ranking and that doesn't always help with picking games.

Yeah, you're right about that. We've had home games and plenty of pseudo home games. Judson should get the 3 points this week.

I agree. SV only has to build on the gameplan they already used to beat Madison once. The Mav coaches are going to have to come up with something very creative and unexpected and hope that there players will be able to excecute the plays as well as the normal ones. If Madison plays in the same manner they did 5 weeks ago SV will take this game 2-3 TDs.

I think Westfield will show the state how good they really are this week against Judson after a let down game to Cy Fair.

Without making a prediction, I will give one stat. Trinity outweighs AMC by over 50 pounds per man offense to defense. They will wear AMC down by the second quarter and take control of the ball and game. Why were the stats so low against Richardson Berkner? If AMC is not a paassing team with and excellent arm, they will be dominated by the Trinity defense. The AMC defense will not be able to stop either the run or pass from Trinity. If I am not mistaken, Trinity has sclored on almost 90% of their possessions. I don't see it as a close game. Trinity is also beginning to peak again, and that is dangerous!

I think Westfield finds out how good they aint this week and Judson ends the run. SLC will win by a LOT. Cove shocks the state. Katy struggles out a close one with Falls (the equivalent of UT/A&M) but is stronger for it. SV shows what they got in a rout. I cant see AMC doing in Euless but this one is a toss-up to me.
