Our Qb here at Trinity has played this season with a heavy heart. This fine young man's mother was killed in a car wreck not to long after our semifinal loss to Tyler Lee. Trevor has endured the best a young man can. He did an interview and it can be seen at www.insidehighschoolfootball.com.

It's heartbreaking to see anyone lose their mom at that age. He has had a remarkable season and although i myself am a Trojan fan through and through, I would be pulling for this kid no matter who he played for. If memory serves there was a similar incident at Copperas Cove in which one of the players hit a fellow student while driving and she died as a result of the injuries. Something to keep in mind as we follow these teams through the playoffs. Each team probably has a player or 2 that has been dealt an unfair hand. Win or lose we should applaud the efforts that these young men have given, they are all winners whether the scoreboard reflects it or not.

I sat with his mom and dad during a playoff game last season. They were great people to be around and awesome Trinity fans. Sad loss for Trevor and his family. My heart goes out to them.

My family knew his family personally. I don't like 99% their team but I don't have a problem with the QB.

BHS06...there you go again. Saying something negative where itr shouldn't be. Why don't you grow up, get a little respect and say something positive. I certainly don't hope you get found out and receive your just rewards for being such an a$$. When you were born, which end did the doctor slap. I bet he was really confused!

Truly inspirational, Trevor has to be tough as nails to come back and perform the way he has in the playoffs after such a devastating loss, my prayers are with him and his family. Oh, and thanks for fixing the link that was awesome.

HORRIBLE tragety to hear of this young mans mother, my mother just had a double by pass surgery less than a month ago, i pondered the notion of losing her, it was unberable....
HORRIBLE LOSS FOR THIS YOUNG MAN, its good to hear he has persevered the way he has....

I saw the interview with Trevor on the television. A tragic loss that we can all empathize and sympathize with. However, I thought Trevor showed great composure and great attitude during the interview; which is clearly the result of a great upbringing and a support network of family and friends, especially at school. I really do wish Trevor well for the future and best wishes to the Euless Trinity Trojans for the rest of the play-offs.

God bless all of you for your thoughts and kind words. I know that Trevor would be glad to know that there are many people outside of his immediate world that feel the way that this group does. You are a kind and gracious group of people. When you hear the Trinity score this weekend whether they win or lose, remember Trevor and his family.
