Predictions for current bracket?

How are things gonna shape up from here on out in the D1 Bracket? Who are legit. state championship contenders? The way I see it, here are the teams I say have the best shot at making it that far.

Stony Point
Euless Trinity
Odessa High
Plano
SA Clark
Hightower
Pearland
Cinco Ranch

Yeah I recognize I'm keeping a few pretty good teams off this list, but from here on out, it's going to be hard not to be a homer.

After all, each team is only gonna need three wins to get to State...

and, I just checked HSRivals. Hightower isn't even ranked in their top 100.

Usually most top 100 polls have their favorites who are always going to be in it no matter what just based on there history...North Shore, Southlake, Katy etc.

well, unless the coaching gets better, you can stratch Hightower off your list...that 3rd and 4th quarter coaching was horrible, even when we were on the one yard line, they ran a pitch to the rb....a freaking pitch!!!! you kidding me......our coaches took a bath tonight, but Aymond appeared as if was playing clock himself so Hallmark at hightower was saved tonight.....

he better have a new game plan next week vs Cinco and their pass happy offense.

I agree, Pearland is for me, the best team in the region. I think beating North Shore is a huge notch under HT's belt and playing in a close game for the first time will help us down the road.

Cinco is going to be extremely tough, our defense is going to have to deliver then too.
