Just returned from this game and it was just as the score indicates. Katy could have hung 60+ and kept the shut out, but the starters on both sides of the ball came out around mid 3rd when it was 42-0.

Credit to Westbrook who played hard and clean until the final whistle. Congrats on a good season.

Someone on Rivals.com says that the game is Sat. 2:00 at Rice. It would be much better than trying to play at Reliant immediately after the UT/Colorado game. Can anyone confirm?

Hi, CyFallsMom! I get to see you and your friends once again. After visiting with you and the Cy-Falls fans Friday nite I feel very comfortable walking over to ya'lls side during the game to chew the fat a bit. Maybe we'll get some Beatle talk in this time!! I'll have to talk with Oldathlete also. He's real proud of his kid who is on the team(#21). We saw a bunch of Cy-Falls football players at our game yesterday. I guess they like Katy football :eek: ! It will be interesting to see how your team performs especially at the QB position. He's doing a good job for being named the starter only during the 1st playoff game.

It's pretty common in the Cy Fair district for fans to go to the other side (we are one big "happy" family I guess) so it's really easy to visit the Cy Falls side. I'm glad to hear the players were sitting on Katy's side - I think they feel like I do about playing, in my opinion, the best team in the state. #21 is Roger Holland - great kid and very good football and baseball player. He plays both sides of the ball in football. I'm extremely impressed with Jeff Welch - he's only a junior too:)

Maybe this trip down the Falls will be little more exciting.

I guess it would be easier to have CFMom escorted to our side to visit us then to have our whole group mosey on over there. A tailgate would be better. Then we can get a big Katy tailgate group and let CFMom come over for a burger.

sorry it appears i am following you tonight. oldathlete is very knowageable of football (he is an old AGGIE). i believe in what he has to say. he will come out in a few days and give us his oppinion. until then, you got me. i said several times westfield could be beat. they almost were. i also say katy can be beat. up the middle all night long.

if i am wrong, i hope katy goes all the way!
