It's an interesting article. I've seen the "whatever happened to" aspect of the 1988 team before, but it always impacts me when I see it again.

I had seen most of the "where are they now" stuff but not Chris Comers... All i can say is wow... Even with the steroids accusations I have a new found respect for Roger Clemens...

The '88 team's story is more riveting, I think, b/c it does not have a happy ending. A team always learns more fm. it's losses than its wins (individuals are the same way, too). In that sense FNL, the movie, beats "Hoosiers" & "Titans", IMO.

I didnt like the Titans.... it did give us Hayden Pana.... Im not even gonna try to spell that name

yeah, i think it's probably my favorite sports movie but "the express" is pretty close.
but i think the fnl book is better than the movie

the only thing i didn't like about the movie is that there were a lot of things that were changed from the book

That's just a natural progression. Because the book changed a lot of things from reality. :D
