at this rate, Midland is gonna wear down the Plano defense with their running game. they are just grinding and grinding.

All of Plano's drives have not been long in the number of plays. They had a 66 yard TD run, 22 yard TD run on a 30 yard drive, another drive consisted of one long run to the Midland 27.

Plano's defense has been on the field alot.

no doubt he is good, but the option wasn't working this good the last couple of games, so it doesn't appear that Midland has a defense like Plano has been seeing lately.

a perfectly run option will be difficult to completely shut down, esp if the teams are relatively equal. one player in the attack will usually be the one to draw the least focus. sfikas got the white bean today, it seems.

Today's game sounds like Plano football of old. Very little passing, lots of QB yards on the option, stout defense that really made adjustments in the second half and shut down Batch and the Midland offense.

The turnovers are still a problem though.

I tend to agree, although JJ's stringing out the Midland D was largely what kept opening up inside lanes for Sfikas. I hope he can step it up next week too.

You got some lucky interceptions, congratz. Both of our defenses did a share of holding back, and you know it. It seemed to kind of vary by the possession, sometimes yall were snuffed out, other times yall just got big yardage, and that is something we couldnt do.

And Batch looked a lot better than your back, sorry, but it showed very clearly to me. Oh, and btw, your plano defenders ripping the ball out of roseberry's hands at the beginning of the game (resulting in the second touchdown) was complete BS. Yall really did try to pull that off, a lot.

The Plano secondary must have gotten 2 or 3 interceptions throughout the game. There were also several turnovers, I cant remember the exact numbers.

how is that plano's fault. both teams need to play until the whistle. the refs are responsible for that aspect of the game. could they have made a mistake. you betcha. did they. in your eyes for sure, at least.

I was there and there was some questionable calls in the first half. The second half wasn't as bad, but there were some calls that seemed to be mis called.

Your right PLANO isn't that good we should only be 5-5. NO way we should be 13-0 an no way we have a chance to beat SLC. If they beat Abilene by 52 then Plano should lose by at leat 80! :)
