Tyler Lee qualified for the State 7 on 7 Tournament in July at College Station this weekend at the Weatherford Qualifier Tournament. Lee beat Colleyville Heritage 47-38, Ft. Worth All Saints 47-8, Mansfield 33-20 and Abilene 35-28, before losing to Grapevine in the Championship 45-41.

Tyler Lee's athlete (skill kids) matching up with Abilene and Mansfield looks good. REL may not win the Texas 7 on 7 but something tells me that their 11 Man team is going to have a better passing team than last years.

Yes I had the same thought you have that they will have better passing than last year because last year had alot of running I mean almost every play because of Tyrone Ross, Josh Hill, and Peyton Price.

What happens if we win 7 on 7 tourny? that may seem like we can repeat the champion, that would be first time in history for 5A having to win double again, anything could happen.

Ya, Tyrone Ross had some hop, skip and jump in his speed running style. I'm glad to see he'll be playing at Navarro JUCO with teamate WR- Tony Bush. I'm sure they will both do very well.
I think Jason Williams will keep the running game strong. He'll bring nice speed with a mix of power. I saw some of the runs in the Longview game last year and was impressed by him. Plus, QB- Preston Hill is a good runner if the pass isnt there.
Tyler Lee seems to always have a strong runner in that backfield.
