Will some 5A team please go over to Louisiana next year and play JohnCurtis?
There are people over there that really think they JC could hang with some decent 5A Tx teams. I keep telling them they are wrong, but the fools won't listen.

I would be nice if it were a team that is no longer in the playoffs, that way it will look even better. I'd like for one of the CenTex teams to do the honors that way it will be in the paper around here so I can read about it.

No, I don't think they would. Lostview fans are tired of playing and beating La teams. They have already managed to beat the 2 best teams in La this year. They don't want to go over there next year for 3rd. But it would be kinda kool. 2 teams I don't really care for, out on the field. Going at it like savages or something.
Besides, Lostview got a taste of JC when they played ECA this year. The kid that run back one of the kickoffs plays for JC, but he was at ECA for a couple of weeks when the hurricane came thru. I'm sure the only reason he left ECA and went back to where he came from is because ECA lost 3. I can almost bet if ECA had won, he'd have stayed.

They couldn't even go undefeated in Lousyanna this year. I mean, they're my boys, but I'm not going to bet on them beating most of the top 10 teams.

I wish JC had played West Monroe and Evangel more than 1 time each. They play out of state teams and 5A teams, but the top 3 teams in the state don't play unless it's in the playoffs. It sounds like a bunch of bullies to me. They sure enough should've played JC since they were 4A when the other 2 were 5A. I can see ECA and WM not wanting to play and give away their gameplan before a playoff matchup.

Next year could have changes though. There is a pretty good possibility that ECA and JC will both be in 2A. But I get the feeling that if ECA does wind up in 2A that JC will suddenly have the numbers to be in 3A.
The hurricane stuff has really changed the populations up around the state. Some 1A schools are finding themselves with 2 and 3A populations. And some 5A's are finding themselves with 1 and 2A populations.
I think this whole thing will possibly be ECA's ticked back into 5A.
