No your eyes aren't failing you, that is the final score. I apologize in advance for tooting our own horn, but this was an incredible performance by the Dragons. The offense was prolific as usual, McElroy was fantastic. The defense was something else. A shutout, in the playoffs? Against Abilene? That is worthy of praise. I'll tell you what, SLC is really hitting stride right now, and I honestly don't know if there is any team out there that is capable of stopping them, even by playing their best football.

I came home from the Celina game, and was shocked when I saw this score. I though Abiline would make it close like last year, but I guess I was wrong. Everyone knows the SLC offense, but I guess the defense is improved.

This game was an absolute blowout!! SLC beat Abilene in all phases of the game and made them look REALLY BAD! I think we all know who has the best QB between these 2 teams. I bet Texas Tech sure is glad they got McElroy's committment. Potts might want to look at ACU as a possible alternative.

exactly! yankeeman and i were discussing that earlier, it was amazing, the slc d would give abilinie yards, then when it became cramp time thered be a huge play! the sack, stopping them on forth, the INT's, it was amazing!

I have to say I was also shocked by the domination. 52-0? I mean really. It also could have easily been 66-0 had the stripes not been wearing black and gold under those unis. This is the most dominant defense i've ever seen at SLC hands-down.
