Having an avatar slows down the board and during high traffic periods like the playoffs they are suppressed.

There is also a search feature which you can search for threads and once you are in the thread you can search the thread itself.

I hope the players took note of the Abilene game last night and saw that even heavy favorites can get upset in the first round of play.

GO HAWKS...BTW!

Good to see you up Silver Mom - It's now 8:15AM. I've been up since 8, and didn't get to bed after last night's games till almost 3:30AM! Let's do this! I'll be cheering for LD Bell because I secretly do not want a rematch with Hebron. I hope you understand.

I do understand, but the rematch is coming anyway. Strap it on, Wylie cause it will be shaking.

The dogs are up at 6:30, we had someone to see at work at 8, and then are headed to TS for the Carroll game. And I had to get all my cold weather gear together. At least it won't be as miserable as last year's quadruple OT win against DeSoto in the rain and cold.

I totally understand about your cheering preference. Will you be at TS? I'll be offline by 9 am (probably).

I really like our gameplan so far, run run run.

Even though we have a spread offense we run the ball much more than we throw and I like that.

Bell is playing very very good football right now. Out at Texas Stadium and they are looking good. With under 5 minutes left Bell could upset Hebron.

farrow 28 for 165 so far, an dlongest is 20 yarder, that is tough running.

Bell hung really tough, what a great D and what a stud RB Farrow is! Walk tall, you played a whale of a game. But Hawks, you never gave up, congrats!

Hebron stole this one. A very undeserving win for the Hawks...but we'll take it.

Sets up a Wylie rematch.

Bell manhandled both our lines in this game and controlled the LOS.

Good game plan by the Blue Raiders and their running back, Farrow was superb.

I think we (Bell) kind of blew it a little on our last drive as well... several times we snapped the ball with 12 seconds or more on the clock... we should have been milking the clock for all it was worth.

As it was, the boys came up 1 yard short of a playoff upset. (If they'd had made the 4th down with 1:32 left, there were no more timeouts for Hebron) As an aside, Hebron evened the game up with a score just before half with 1 second left.

I know the boys are quite upset, but they had a good year, and they played a good game... just couldn't hang on against a very good team. (saw the value of the swinging gate on the 1st play with 1:32 to go in the 4th quarter as well)

Congratulations Hebron.

Bell took one snap in the last 3 minutes with 20 seconds still on the clock -- and several others with 12-15 seconds on the clock --

The Hebron HC said the better team was not the team that won the game today --

The Hawks looked very flat the whole game. Maybe they were eyeing the next bracket game (Wylie) instead of the one at hand. I know the guys are defintiely wanting (licking their chops) Wylie again, and I am pretty sure you will see a different team in that game versus the team you saw today.

Hebron dodged a bullet today, Bell defiitely came to play.

I don't know how many of you were actually at the game. It was one of the best football games I have seen in quite some time. This had to be a heartbreaker for Bell.

The swinging gate play enabled Hebron to get out of the hole and put Bell back on thier heels a bit. Even then on a 3rd and long the Hebron QB had to make a perfect pass. It looked like it would be picked off, but it was thrown high and to the sidelines where only the receiver could get it and he brought it down.

Incredible game to see.

Reminds me a little bit of the Lewisville game today. Except not much offense in that game by either team, just defense.

Note to bell coaches: Watch how ET runs the play clock.
I feel for the bell kid's.
This one is on the coaching staff.

This one is on the coaching staff. I totally agree, Lineweaver could have took over at the start of the 4Q and Bell would have won. The limited usage of # 2 due to injury helped keep the Focus on the QB and made it easier for the Bell "D".

When ahead very late in the game, break the huddle late and snap the ball with one or two seconds on the clock. I don't know how many times we've watched Trinity not even break the huddle until 8 or 9 seconds on the clock. It's hard on the heart when you first see it, but they do it very well. Bell saw it in their game with Trinity. Should have took notes.

I was rooting for you in this one, Bell. Sitting in the stands cheering like a Raider (in my black and red). Thought you played a great game and thought you'd won it until that first play of the final drive when the defense fell asleep on the swinging gate play. Then I began to worry.

Congrats to Bell on a good showing in this game and on a good season.

Hebron. You dodged a bullet in this one. Great last drive. Take advantage of the break and go deep in the playoffs.

Alex Norman is a special kid and a very good WR. I wouldn't bet against him pulling that in. He also caught the winning TD pass.
