I'd be willing to go anywhere besides Pasadena....even if it is just 15 minutes down the road.

It should of been at Hall stadium which is at Hightower because Northshore was home at Rice and due to the UIL rule if we play you guys within 2 years of the last game faced Hightower would be home So if You guys are home then I will have a problem with the UIL then that means they changed the rules or something else and no the coin flip should have been for if it was going to be played at ethier Hall Stadium in Fortbend or at a nuetral site with Hightower being home no matter what

I agree here. I'd be all in favor of moving the game to Hall or even Mercer Stadium.

I dont think thats true Hurricanes 192...Rice was a neutral field location last year. North Shores home field is Galena Park ISD stadium. North Shore was the home team in last years playoff game because they won the coin flip. Im sure Hightower will be the home team for this game at the dump of a stadium in Pasadena.

Id rather the game be at Rice or somewhere other that Pasadena, but I guess playing at Pearland again would have been too close to Fort Bend county, and playing on the north side would have been too close to the North Shore area.

This game is going to be the best game of the region. The rankings are out of whack. Either Hightower or North Shore could be 1 and the other should be 2. Pearland should be lower.

Pearland has unequal seating so I doubt it would ever be considered as a viable playoff spot for D1 playoff games.

How many does Pasadena Memorial seat? I wish we had an indoor stadium with field turf. This game could draw over 20K in a big enough stadium.

According to our good friend Texas Bob Pasadena Memorial seats 16,800.

It's actually a fairly large stadium. And i think it will have a few hundred seats to spare when this game takes hold there.

Yeah i agree. Hightower should be #1 in the state. Pearland is horrible.

Same here I don't know how anyone could have North Shore and Pearland ranked ahead of the Hurricanes. I mean they have blown everyone they have played away justlike IKE blew away the roof of many houses.

Vype Magazine had Hightower ranked as their #1 team in their preseason rankings, ahead of North Shore, Pearland, The Woodlands and Katy....I thought it was a tad high myself. I knew they were bringing back 8 on defense, but only four on offense, and with a new coach at the helm, I didnt think they were #1 in the area.

I think they started out at #5 in the Houston Chronicle pre-season, behind North Shore, Katy, Pearland and Westfield.

Monday Nov 10,2008 AP 5A state poll was as followed:

1. Euless Trinity (19) 10-0
2. Galena Park North Shore (1) 8-0
3. Abilene 10-0
4. Odessa Permian 10-0
5. Allen 9-1
6. Pearland 9-0
7. Fort Bend Hightower 8-0
8. Plano 9-1
9. Arlington Bowie 9-1
10. The Woodlands 8-1

Monday's Houston Chronicle top four teams were:
1) North Shore
2) Pearland
3) Hightower
4) The Woodlands

I guess the starts are all aligned and the ranking are just about right.

Who cares about that rankings at this point? We'll know who the better team is in a week...
