This is not the first time in trouble for a couple of these guys. Bowden did the right thing but he didn't raise them. Parents need to look in a mirror. Sad.

Amen brother... Did any of these fools take the time to get out a calculator out and figure the cost of 4 years of tuition at this outstanding university? Of course not, because they probably don't know how to use one!

They dont care. They have been told they are the greastest thing since sliced bread since they were in popwarner. The only way to stop this kind of stuff is 1) start kicking players off the team after 1 maybe 2 chances. 2) ALL coaches agree not to take a player who has been kicked off a team. 3) Stop recruiting JUST the athlete and add CHARACTER to the equation. After a few seasons of this and things would probably turn around. You can always blame anybody,everybody else, everything else, circumstances, etc, etc, etc, but until the ATHLETE thinks he might not make to the next level, or might have to work for peanuts the rest of his life, or prison things are not going to change. Or we can suspend a player for one game.... wait thats what we're doing now NOTHING.
