I'll take it AMC won? What kind of team are they? Do they like to throw or run more? Trinity will be tough but if they have any kind of passing offense they should be fine.

Consol installed a spread offense but will also go back to their bread and butter wing-t alot........they like to run alot of misdirection.......they are very good now doing both and their defense is solid............they will be able to play with Trinity.

Just make sure that they PASS.. unlike Fossil Ridge. Fossil Ridge has a spread offense but decided to run the ball each play. When they passed they were successful but still decided to run each play, I didn't quite understand.

Consol will pass and run..........they are so much better at passing now then they were earlier in the season.........running they can run ...... they are masters at misdirection.

Do they still run the wing-t?? Consolidated is always tough!! Lufkin's old coach is at Consolidated by the way.

Just got back from Waco and Cove did their part for 13-5A 30-14 over Garland. I see that AMC has done their part as well. Good job by both teams and good luck to both next week!!!:D

Yep, I knew Slaughter was the old Lufkin coach.......after Ross Rogers left (Harker Heights coach) Consol wasn't very good..........when they got into 13-5A is when they improved ALOT. That first Waco-Consol game went into triple OT.

They are really good at the wing-t.....I like watching them run it.

I don't think #18 for Consol can throw very well at least not as good and #5 or #7.

Remember Abilene struggled with BELTON so perhaps that was a sign. :confused:

i actually left the cove game at half too go watch all of the SLC game and i was speechless at how dominant they were all of their recievers are so fast and good and their d was soooo diciplined i dont see how any team can beat them i really dont see it happening

ooo yeah and i met micheal irvin he was just chillin on the sideline you know watching Caroll play then he came and signed some autographs it was pretty cool

Way to represent the district to Cove and Consol. I've always felt we had one of the best districts in the state, and this just proves it. Doesn't get any easier the rest of the way, but I believe we can do it.

13-5a Will Get No Respect Until There Is One Or Two Titles Won. A Majority Think It Is A Weak District When In Reality It Pretty Balanced For The Most Part And Tough.

This Could Be The Year.

This is a tought district really there is three or four teams that could have won third had the ball bounced their way, and i left at half i knew cove had the game won i mean really garland was just overmatched i liked the move putting in #30 and throwing him up a fade, but how many times will i have a chance to only drive an hour and see the best high school football team in the nation couldnt pass that up
