This debate has been raging between the Plano and Midland fans.
I know it may seem stupid but lets put it to bed once and for all!

3-5A was better this year. They played a tougher schedule.

3-5A
Abilene cruised over their district and held a 10-0 record once again. Midland was OK with losses coming to Abilene and Monterey. Lee was having a bit of down year though still making the playoffs. Odessa was on a roll until they started district games. Permian and Cooper were both having down years.
8-5A
Plano is rolling with an impressive 10-0 in their district just as well as Abilene. Allen is rebuilding but still maintained an 8-2 record and still making their normal playoff run. PESH squeaked into the playoffs despite a 5-5 record overall. Flower Mound school can give teams a run for their money but still can't seem to beat other decent teams. Lewisville and The Colony are both having down years.
IMO it seems that these 2 districts are about equal.
Abilene 10-0 Plano 10-0
Midland 8-2 Allen 8-2
Mid. Lee 4-6 PESH 5-5

I think we will have a much better idea after this weekend; we'll have played comparable teams with Abilene & Allen playing SLC, and put 8's best against 3's runner up.
