I am not trying to get ahead of myself and (I know this appears a bit early to be thinking about) as both Plano and SLC have tough games to get past this week.

But I heard that if Plano and SLC do advance, that the game would not be played at Texas Stadium but rather Ford @ SMU.

Is there any truth to this who determins this I gues the coaches get together and decide?

i can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be at ts, unless the plano coaches think slc is too much at home there. since plano is probably the only team other than the cowboys with more wins at ts, i doubt that'd be the case. they may want to have the possibility of weather being a factor however.

Ford stadium would be a great venue. TS is such a dump now. Playing in a venue where both teams haven't played before would spice things up a bit.

That game could be close to a sellout or at least 25,000 in a 32,500 seat stadium.

Don't need to discuss until Saturday around 5 or 6 hopefully:)

How many fans have been showing up from Plano the last few games? Especially that deep, I know SLC and other various fans who's teams have been knocked out would prob bring more than capacity if your numbers are accurate.

SMU would sell out which would make for a great environment. It would possibly benifit plano playing in a open air stadium. Lets not look ahead first. both teams are playing quality opponents this week..

When I bought my tickets to the SLC-AHS game at the athletic office, I saw a sheet of paper that indicated the site of next week's game assuming SLC wins. If they play Plano it will be at Texas Stadium. If they play Midland it will be in Abilene at Shotwell. In both cases on Saturday. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Abilene is up first.

that means if we win I will not be able to witness the most important football game of my high school years.

First time my season has been a factor in high school football.

I doubt Plano will advance but if they do they might as well pray for a miracle or a planet alignment. There is no chance in that they will beat SLC . Maybe in 1995 or 2015 but not 2005. Pobres gueyes.

I figured that was the norm for SLC. Pay twice as much for food that's not cooked and the rest of the crowd felt sorry for killing the animals and thought cooking them would be inhumane.
