Outside of one game same can be said of Rosie. Only two of those four
26-5A teams will be around for the quarterfinals.

I really thought so to but we also played 4 kids with little experience in the secondary, 3 should be back next week. Again we are talking about the same defense that held most teams, including SV to under 200 yards a game. And Roosy wil not beat Westlake anyway. Westlake is just smarter than Roosy.

Judson has a good chance and here is why...........Judson lost to supposedly the best teams in region 4 (SV and P'ville) by a respectable score. Had they not had "mental breakdowns" in both games in the second half they may have won or lost by even a closer score. Judson has not only beat teams in their district but they have beat them pretty soundly. As far as this past Friday game if you go back and read some earlier posts, Judson was playing defense with not 2nd or 3rd string CBs but one that had to come up from JV (he did a good job) and another who NEVER played CB before and had to step in with no notice on Friday and play. Carroll knew this and threw on us. I think Judson did pretty well in that game considering the defensive situation. We should be good to go for the playoffs.

This is my announcement for Week 2

I can't make it to the game regardless of who we play unless it's a Thursday game because I'm going out of town for something Friday and Saturday. Judson will be on my mind the whole time though.
I need text updates from the game though.

Judson and either Madison or Bowie.

Best games should be:
SV vs Pville. SV winning
Warren vs Reagan: too close to call
Madison vs Bowie: too close to call
and either SV vs Reagan or Warren: great game either way.

Don't mean to make you feel stupid again, but after you win your region, you've made it to State (State Semi's). The UIL acknowledges this.

I was not expecting that at all....especially after the loss to King...which we should have won.

Victoria is hosting Clark in Victoria. Thats a tough task.

The Vipers played like they wanted it more....they went from 7 turnovers against Judson to ZERO against EC...and they didn't punt once.
