i always have been and always will be biased towards the 'boys. i pick coppell. justin northwest isnt a team that is of the same caliber as HP or Hebron, even marcus while we are at it, so i think we'll be playing in the second round.

Having just seen Justin two weeks ago all I can say is this...enjoy your bye week Coppell.

I'm just saying it as I see it. I look for this game to be over quickly.

Not having seen Northwest play this year, I'm basing my prediction on what I've seen of Coppell. NW usually has a good defense, and if that's the case this year, the game will be in the twenties. If NW's defense is anything like one of our other 6-5A opponents (:D), it could get ugly.

Either way, our 6-5A brothers take this one: Coppell 28 - NW 21

Coppell will be one of three 6-5A teams to advance to the second round.

Yeah, I'm taking Coppell too. If the offense lives up to its steamroller status (and I know it can), and the defense plays like it did last night against FM, the game will be over in a hurry.

I look for Coppell to take this game. When Okotcha, Joplin and Tollet are playing well Coppell is tough and the line has played better the last couple of weeks. The defense gave up way to many big plays last night and almost 400 yards passing. I think they will be ok against Northwest.

Only know what I've read on here about Coppell, but I still pick them over NW. At least the NW that played Trinity.

If Coppell's offense shows up to play coppell wins big

If Coppell's offense does show up Coppell still wins but by less

You coppell boys need to slow down, NW may surprise you if you overlook them. The running game is getting better every week, and the defense has been pretty good ( except against Trinity). I am not going to say it will happen, but that would be funny when NW puts Coppell out the first round.

I do not consider my-self a "Coppell boy" thank you very much. In fact I base all im predictions on states and scores from past games since I havnt been able to see a game this year.

Coppell offense at times has looked to be one of the best in the state. Are there defense has proved they can step up when called apon (IE the second half of the Flower Mound Marcus game) That is why I say Coppell rolls big over Justin NW....

Oh and Dragonman88, I prefer not to be called "boy" ;)

CC57, first of all you take " boys" too seriously. I used it in a very loose term. Second, if you would read what i had stated, you would see that i stated that if coppell takes NW too lightley, NW could be a team that beats Coppell. Background on myself, i am from SLC transplanted to NW about 3 yrs ago. My son plays on a freshman A team that won district 5-5A this year without a loss. Good things are going to happen the next three years at NW. I commend you for being in IRAQ and doing the job for the people and backing our nation, take care over there, come home safe, and lets have some good talks on football for these playoffs.

I'm picking Northwest tomorrow night. Their defense is very good and I think they can play with anyone in 6-5A.

Coppell should win this game. Get the ball to Okotcha (20 times) and that will open up the passing game. When FM made a run at Coppell, Coppell got the ball to Okotcha and he took the air out of the comeback. I hope coaching staff gets it right. I keep hearing that NW has a good defense, but not sure of their offense. They do seem to run the ball well and Coppell has had trouble stopping the run. I don’t think they have enough offense. They will need Coppell to make a couple of mistakes to win.
