For the fourth straight year Mavs players/coaches will be watching playoffs from the comfort of their living rooms. Congrats to Gtown on a fine win. That qb of ya'lls is really good. He looked confident with every throw. Many long 3rd down coversions. Mavs offense continued season-long habit of shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and weak three and outs and killing our defense. Gtown defense seemed to know what play we were running most of the time. Game was 21-0 when I left with about 4 minutes to go. Gtown was fixing to score again after Mavs turned ball over on downs deep in their own end of the field after a false start turned a fourth and one into fourth and six. ANOTHER disappointing season. Three district wins ain't going to get you to the dance. Good luck to all of our playoff representatives. I'll be pulling for you guys.

Thanks for the support. McNeil did not play with much enthusiasm tonight. Several dropped passes that would have been first downs. Georgetown D played very well tonight, limiting the big plays that have killed them all year. Jason Stone (#9) played awesome tonight. That kid is a heck of a competitor.

How 'bout all those holding calls again? I think they are calling holds on pancakes where the lineman lays on the defensive player. Not sure. Lots of penalties on both sides though that were costly.

You guys definitely had the enthusiasm/desire edge tonight.

Very sick. Your boys now have some very nice digs. Quite a step up from that old thing by the river. Visitor concession lines were long for hot chocolate though. :D

An Sp o lineman was called on that before and technically it is holding to lay on a player. however i've never seen it been called since this year

Why should an O lineman be called for whooping @$$. That just bails out a weak D, IMO.

Beautiful stadium. You will enjoy it for years. Honestly, I really liked going to games at the old stadium. I am sure you had a good reason to upgrade and y'all deserve a first class yard, but I have always had a preference for old school stadiums. It feels more like Friday night football. Here are some of my impressions of your new place.

- Plenty of parking. Big improvement. Parking was my only complaint about your old stadium.
- Good choice on the metal grandstands. They make so much more noise. Home field advantage built into the structure. You couldn't get the concrete stands at the Palace to rumble if you upset Euless Trinity.

On the downside: (Maybe it is better on the home side)
- Not enough leg room.
- Not much concourse space. The concession stand is right across from the ramp to enter the stands. It is convenient, but concession lines will be in the way of foot traffic.
- Turn up the volume on the PA.
- What happened to the funnel cakes?
