I know I haven't posted much, but I'd like to just say a few comments. I was at the game, and these are a few of the things I saw

1. Every Bama fam I met or talked to were good people, no problems there on my part.

2. LSU gave the number one team in the country 7 points, while throwing 4 interceptions. Makes you wonder what this team is capable at their best.

3. 3rd and 3, 3 minutes left. Wide open whole right at the center, yet an incompletion is thrown rather than run the ball.

4. Jarrett Lee looks great a couple throws, and just horrible the rest. It looked like he had never practiced with those receivers before. He wouldn't even look where he would throw it, he just threw it wherever. When he has some good protection and got into a rythym, he played well.

5. Charles Scott looked great, and I liked the wildcat formation.

6. When that field goal was blocked, I though we had a chance to be heroes. So disapointing the way it ended.

7. At the end of the game, while the final play was being reviewed, I was extremely mad that the student section was yelling "**** you, Saban!". He and his team just beat us, and we're yelling curse words at him? Very sad part on the LSU fans.

8. I though the ESPN spots about LSU fans hating Saban that much are really overdrawn. It made LSU look terrible, while it was based on so few people. Yes, people are upset at Saban, but it is nowhere near at the level ESPN showed.

9. I wasn't happy with the officiating. Thought some holds weren't called, and saw too many waived off flags. Not an excuse for losing that game though.

10. Florida will **** Bama

I know I have more to add, and it's not in order, but that's all I can think of right now. I have a splitting headache, and want to just get on with the night.

When your QB is 13 for 35 with 4 picks and you still almost get a chance to pull it out you can't feel too bad...We played about as good as we could play, I guess...Ran the ball tough and played some good "D"...

Jarrett Lee is a "statue" QB though...He wouldn't run if a bear was chasing him, I don't believe...He suppose to be getting better every week, but I'm not seeing it.....I've been trying to hang with Lee though...Les has too which I respect...Sooner or Later though JJ gonna have to see the field...

GREAT SEC Game tonight. Lee definitely has some work to do but the kid is young and Bama's defense (and Saban as a defensive coach) isn't exactly 'pop warner'. BAMA fans can definitely understand QB frustrations (see JPW last year). BAMA played a sloppy 1st half (had 3 turnovers themselves) but got the job done in a very hostile environment. I thought the 'holding' call on JPW's touchdown was 'questionable' and the blocked FG could have been a killer but BAMA kept their poise (which hasn't been the case in the past). Julio had some drops but also made some key catches ... and the guy is a true Freshman and is a beast to bring down. Have 2 tip my hat to LSU they never quit. Seems like these teams play down to the wire every year (2005 and last year still STING). Looking forward to next year's matchup in T-town. ROLL TIDE!
