And make my year??? Only a select few things would be greater than USC getting shut out of the title game AND not winning their own conference. Maybe Carroll will lobby for a conference title game as well? Nah, doubt it.

@ UCLA (3-5)
# 21 Cali (6-2)
@ Arizona (5-3)
Oregon (6-3)

Please please football gods make this happen.

Yes, I realize they will still be eligible for an at-large bid but here's also hoping the media darlings aren't picked in favor of some other "classic" match-up... whatever that may be.

No, they will not run the table. IMO they will lose to Cal, and maybe drop one more

They still get a share of the PAC 10, they just won't be the Rose Bowl team, but they would get a BCS at large!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but why wouldn't Oregon State be the Rose Bowl team if they win a share of the Pac-10? They will not appear in the NC game, and they will have the virtue of head to head win over USC.

Oregon State will go to the Rose Bowl if they win out. I can promise you, Utah, TCU, Ball State, and Boise State don't want Oregon State to win out because it will take away a 2nd BCS bid for a non-BCS team.

Pac-10 (USC)
ACC
Big East
Big 10
Big 12 times 2
SEC times 2

There is potential room for 2 non-BCS teams and Oregon State would knock that down to 1. Ohio State might not get a BCS bid and I really think we would see 2 non-BCS teams this year, but Oregon State can ruin it. What's bad is we're going to have 2-3 Big 12 teams deserve BCS bids and not get them because you can only get 2 per conference.

USC goes 11-1, they will get an at large birth. They could rematch Oregon State maybe?

I can't see it, but I think they are a different/better team now...I don't see them getting blown out in any of these game though...

Under Carroll they have only played 1 non-BCS game, which was a Sun Bowl loss to TCU in year 1. They have only lost the 2005 Rose Bowl, to UT in the last seconds, with by FAR USC's worst defense under Carroll since year 1, #34 total D. They have won and dominated all the other BCS bowls.

USC will win out and play in the Rose Bowl, like always, then complain about how they didnt get to play for the natty after they beat whoever they play.
