Author of bestsellers such as "The Andromeda Strain" and "Jurassic Park" died on Tuesday after a battle with cancer. He was 66. If he wasn't my favorite author, he was certainly in my top3. Sad day :(
I didn't even know this was a possibility, his last book released barely a year ago.

Michael Crichton, Tom Clancy, and Orson Scott Card are/were all excellent authors with political views that I disagree with, but I enjoy their writing immensely.

The world lost a true gem yesterday.
