Former LaMarque Coach Allen Wardell

I was just wondering if anyone knew where or if he was coaching at now. I know he left LaMarque to join RC Slocum at A&M. After that I don't know where he went to or if he is even coachign at all. Any info would be much appreciated.

Allen Wedell is on Coach Art Briles staff at Houston. I believe he coaches linebackers. He took a year off after Slocum got dismissed and was the DC at Brazoswood last year. Coach Briles has some great former HS coaches on his staff. I believe he will be able to do to Houston what is being done at TCU.

Sorry to any LaMarque fans on the spelling there. And thanks for the infor farmerfan. Wonder if he is happy where he's at or if he'd like to return to the High School ranks and coach again.

I keep hoping the Cougs break out big-time. They sure blew it on Saturday losing to SMU. They might still get a bowl game if they beat Rice.
