This seems to be the biggest question being asked right now. Lets hear who you think....

My vote goes to......

Lets just go ahead and say the Ole Miss loss was a fluke. They obviously had their heads in the clouds. As of late, UF has destroyed all the teams in their path with big wins over Georgia, and LSU.

Make your case.....

I would probably go for Florida as well. I don't think any one-loss team is firing on all cylinders like UF right now.

Florida and USC.

USC is a joke, beating up on U Dub and Wash St. looks real good.

Hands down the Gators are the best 1 loss team. They have the most athletic D in the country, far superior to USC's. Brandon Spikes is the best D player in the country. Half the time he lines up at MLB and the other half he is a pass rush stand up end... how many linebackers are not only big enough but athletic enough to pull that off. Then what do you say about their O, Timmy T has cleaned it all up and has gladly been a manager on O and has let loose #1, 2, 3 in three of the fastest players in NCAA, Mercy Percy, Jeff Demps, and Chris Rainey... Aaron Hernandez has been a pretty good stand in for CI who was lost... Louis Murphy has been a solid option at WR.. Major Wright is an assasin to WR and a huge play maker in the Reggie Nelson mold. Joe Haden has finally figured out how to play corner after playing WR all through HS.. Dunlap and Cunningham are the pass rush DE that they need and have filled in for Harvey and Moss. And to top it off, they have one of the most dynamic and dangerous players in the country with Brandon James who at any moment can turn the tide and take one back.

Horns get my vote for the #2 best 1 loss team, but sadly arn't close to the Gators. Gators are too athletic and just have more weapons.

I would agree that right now they are the best 1 loss team... By the time the season ends UT and OU and UF will be..

Texas is the best one loss team.

USC lost to an unranked Oregon State and was manhandled by them in the first half. Don't let their games against 1-8 Washington State, 0-9 Washington, and their struggle against "mighty" 2-6 Arizona fool you.

Florida lost to unranked Ole Miss AT HOME. That is all I need to say about that.

I would agree, except for that I think the Ole Miss game was just a fluke... still it was pretty bad. If Florida and Texas were to play right now, it would be close... but I would have to give the edge to Florida

I go to UT, and I think that what UT has done thus far this year has been amazing and definitely deserve to go to a BCS bowl if we can just avoid a slip up. But I have to say, we don't match up with UF at all... Man to man they are just way too athletic. Heck at this point, and my brother (who goes to UF) would kill me saying this but I'd rather have Colt than Tebow. I think how Colt gets the ball out quick and is unbelievably accurate. He is also faster. What Tebow has that Colt doesn't have (except a Heisman and a Ring) is 11 WR/RB that run 4.4 and under. Texas won't be able to match up with that. It wouldn't be a blow out, but I don't see Texas beating UF right now.

I agree plus cant call it a fluke when a team comes to your house and really out plays you for the most part. Not to mention UF needed a late TD to even try and tie it up. Remeber folks this is almost the same UF team that was 9-4 last season and lost to Michigan  in theCapital One Bowl.

For those that cant tell but the SEC is way down this season. UF would have atleast 2-3 losses if they replaced Baylor in the Big 12 south.

I don't think it was a fluke. Georgia out gained Florida and the game would have been competitive if Georgia had not committed 4 turnovers and handed Florida points on a silver platter. You don't lose at home on a fluke.

The best team with one loss is TEXAS they should really be undefeated because it was total lucky that tech beat us but Ole Miss just beat Florida and Oregon State pounded USC so Texas is clearly the best one loss team.

Wait a year, and you won't believe what you are saying now. This Texas Group is going to be absolutely disgusting next season. Add Wideouts like Hales, Grant, and Buckner to the list...its going to be pretty sick. Jeremy Hills with a year under the strength conditioning program is going to emerge as the favorite along with Fozzy to be the starter. In my opinion, Fozzy and Hills will leave the pack behind...Especially hills who is just such an asset to you in the 4th quarter. I haven't been more impressed with 4th quarter performances from a Back...ever.. Its like he turns it up to a non-human notch, and just goes.

More mature, but not more athletic.

The Capital One Bowl last year was simply a game of emotions. Lloyd Carrs last game as coach, the players weren't going to let him go out a loser

Hey, thats why I said earlier that I was absolutely shocked that UT has done as well as they have done so far this season. With those wide outs along side Malcom who has established himself as one of the faster WRs out there.

As a guy that played against Jeremy Hills, I've been saying, since the day he burned our D (and made me look like an idiot on a few plays) and then committed to UT I was saying that he would one day be the starting RB for UT... Also gotta take into account that Demps and Rainey will also have another year to get bigger and stronger. I am looking foward to next year's UT team, but this years team still has a ways to go and can still make either the NC or definitely a BCS bowl
