He can scoot, but I think McKnight has not been as big an impact as everyone thought he would be.

I don't know if calling a kid the "next Joe McKnight" is quite the praise me may have thought. McKnight isn't doing much at USC. He's the 3rd leading rusher this year and in two seasons has barely rushed for 900 yards and 4 TDs.

Joe McKnight hasn't even become the next Reggie Bush yet. Bush played 3 years got 2 MNCs and a Heisman and split.

He will be before it's over with, I believe...Joe been hurt alittle this year...Didn't play in two games....At USC he's just not getting the touches right now...

2008 so far
50 rushes 361 yards 7.2 avg
13 rec 146 yards 11.2 avg

Best game was Arizona State this year...11 attempts for 143 yards...The most attempts so far this year has been 12..That was against Ohio State..He ran for 105...

Jackson Jeffcoat....Hows this kid doing this year?...Texas lock?

***** 1. Jackson Jeffcoat
6'5" / 230 pounds / Defensive End / Plano West High School / Plano, Texas
Contenders: Texas, Oklahoma, USC
Scouting Report: Nation's top junior prospect. Son of former ASU Sun Devils and Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Jim Jeffcoat, Jackson is blessed with his father's physical attributes and has an advanced feel for the game. As a sophomore, Jeffcoat was named All-State 5A, something that's extremely rare given the priority to upperclassmen in the state's highest classification. Has been clocked at 4.50 flat and even touched under 4.5. Shuts down passing lanes with his combination of height and plus wingspan. Disciplined and well-coached, uses his hands like an NFL-vet. Overall technique is on the same level as Devon Kennard. Doesn't appear to have Kennard's explosion off the ball, but Jeffcoat actually plays in a read-and-react defense. One could argue Jeffcoat's frame and straight-line speed gives him a higher ceiling than Kennard. Could have been the #2 prospect in the 2009 class after Barkley. Also the top basketball player in the Dallas Metroplex right now, Jeffcoat may pull a Julius Peppers and go dual-sport in college.

Looks like Trovon getting some love also...Fans Voice anyways...LSU people want this kid bad...

***** 19. Trovon Reed
6'0" / 175 pounds / Wide Receiver / Thibodaux High School / Thibodaux, Louisiana
Contenders: LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee
Scouting Report: Dynamic athlete with a great feel for the field. Reed has sub 4.4 speed and great COD ability, very smooth in and out of every cut. Plays quarterback for Thibodaux, accounting for nearly five touchdowns a game, but is being recruited as either a wideout or defensive back. I don't see anyway this kid isn't on offense at the next two levels. Over the summer, Reed dominated the camp circuit, winning WR MVP at every stop. Knows how to get seperation and has outstanding hands. As a quarterback, understands route running and the angles of the field better than most receivers. While Reed has solid height, his body is frail. Getting north of 180 pounds will be necessary to become the complete wideout he has the potential to be. Will get comparisons to former Louisiana quarterback turned wideout Early Doucet.

I don't think Texas is the leader for Jeffcoat, but there are a lot of good DEs in Texas next year.
