Gotta love Jerry! I guess the shut-out against Rowlett has made him a believer in Berkner. Keep picking my Owls as underdogs. We love being in that position. :)

Yea the numbers are what he thinks they will win by. I seen another site that had Trinity by 24 and Garland by 8.

The number that a team wins by is the difference in of Jerry's ratings of the two teams. For example; Jerry's rating for El Paso Franklin's is 180.25 and Euless Trinity's rating is 194.12. The difference being the 14 points, which Jerry's is forecast for the margin of the win. This applies to all match-ups.

there are less teams in D1...2 teams from each district go D2 and 1 team goes D1, thats also why D1 is done one week earlier than D2

Wow.. The things you learn.. What an odd way of doing it. So would D1 be considered "stronger"?

depends whos teams are in it...personally i think D2 is stronger this year, there was some stat like 7 of the states top 10 were in d2 or something like that

I would like to see lonny's picks. He has a good formula for picking the games. Always very accurate!

Some of the Houston area people might argue with that. As for Lufkin's district, the best football isn't there. When we were in district with Longview and the Tyler schools I would have argued with you, but not now.
