Hard to be an upset when you are the underdog to begin with. Cy Falls over LaPorte would be the upset.

Good grief, do you follow football. You think Cy Falls is gonna be the favorite over Laporte? What region are you from? I think Cy Falls is the underdog and will fall due to idiotic coaching calls not due to the players who play their hearts out and I have seen them 3 times this year and they could do it if they called their own plays. Katy certainly will be favored and it would truely be an upset if Beaumont wins and I certainly hope they get tested at least but dont think Beaumont has nearly enough to take out Katy unless Katy beats themselves which is thankfully doubtful at this point. Sorry Falls.

Call me crazy, but the stars will align right and the Colonels of South Garland will get the upset over Lufkin.........2-0 vs. East Texas!!!

If Westbrook did find a way to beat Katy I would have to say that the big loser would be 5Atexasfootball.com because the server would blow up. When everyone tried to get on the website at once to post all the smack against Katy. :eek:

So I think in the interest of free enterprise we will just have to make sure Katy wins. :)

No upsets. The favorites all win. I know it wasn't the question but thats how I see it.

i could see a possible upset there, but i highly doubt it will happen. i pick katy going all the way to the state championship this year

Theres no way that Westbrook will beat beat offense and overall defense Katy. I will not see that and that would be the most upset of the playoff year.

A little respect for West Brook here folks. Their only loss is to Westfield, and they have won 2 playoff games - including one against the best Houston Madison team since Vince Young was there. Beating Katy is not only possible; it would not be as big an upset as most people here seem to think. Katy hasn't been behind all year - it remains to be seen if they have enough character to come back against a good team if they get behind.

This is exactly how SA Madison approached their bi-district game (score early and often) against then #8 ranked Schertz Clemens. They had played in a weak district and stomped their opposition all season with a defense that did not give up more than a single TD in any game until they met San Marcos in week eight. Teams that have not been behind all year often find themselves unable to climb out of a hole when it come to the playoffs.

One fluke mabye!...but two?, haha Lufkin will win handily in my opinion. I'm considering going to this game. Lufkin will bring thousands since they are so close. I would be surprised if South Garland has two thousand...

haha yeah the stars will align so that we'll end up playing south. that would be the craziest game...

i hope you're right, however hard that upset will be. :)
