I feel bad for Heights this week. The Dawgs are pissed after their loss and will come out with everything they have

Yes...heard it wasn't pleasant at the Annex Saturday morning...I think the Dawgs got the wake-up call they needed and will more than likely take it out on Heights Friday night.

To be honest, I was REALLY shocked to hear about cove's loss to AMC. Cove is definitely a state caliber team and Heights is about to get ripped a new one. :notworthy

Let's not be foolish enough to under estimate another opponent because of won/loss records or stats. They are a solid team with a very explosive running back. Repect them and expect a good game. To do otherwise would be a serious error in judgement. You all do remember last Friday night don't you?

No no no, definately am not saying we will underestimate Heights (based on the reasons you state above.) I'm just saying that I believe this loss will fire the team back up to play to their full potential. And IMHO, when Cove is firing on all cylinders they can't be beat

Let's not get carried away now. Even if Cove fires on all cylinders, it would still be an underdog to Trinity and some of the other powers in 5A. If last week said anything, it's that there's a lot of areas for this team to work on to make a deep run into the playoffs. I said this is good for Cove because when they go into the playoffs undefeated or untested, not the same thing, they tend to lose early. So last week may turn out to be a net positive in the long run.
