Doesn't matter who won it then its whats progressing forward and seems to be better. Texas didn't play like a number 1 team right now so yeah they need to deal with it. Right now techs turn to enter gauntlet, if they can run it power to them. But Florida in front of Texas = yeah kiss those chances good bye.

About what I expected really...

Penn State still has Iowa and Michigan St...They may not lose those games, but might make a poor enough showing to be jumped by Tech if Tech win out....

The Gumps got us this week...No telling how that might turn out...Lee might be great or could be bad..."D" might show and might not...

I'm not going to be picky. If Tech can play in that game, I'm not going to gripe about who we play too much. If Penn State runs the table, they deserve the spot as long as 'bama loses 1. I agree there are better 1-loss teams, but I'll always say the 12-0 and 13-0 teams earn the spot first.

Interesting fact. Florida is 2-4 vs Big10 this decade including a loss to MIchigan last year. But you are right if the Big10 loses back to back to back NC game's badly then it will definitely look bad. I do not see Penn st getting blown out by anybody though. Penn st D is too good.

And yes the poor Big10 has only won a couple of National titles in last 10 years.. What a joke conference. ;)

But Penn st is very legit IMO. Not to mention they are great in Bowl games. I actually would like to see my own Big10 conference punished for not having a national championship game. A 1 loss team coming from the Big12 this year with a title game deserves a shot no doubt.
