"Cove" Ive posted this before, but I think this is a great team site. GARLANDOWLS.con. Go to footbal, then, video vault. Highlight clips of of all 10 games are up now. SEVEN of the teams on these clips were in the playoffs. Yall maybe need to see what an "OWL" looks like. Ilike the Ennis, Carter, and South clips. Does "Cove" have a site where we can see them in action?

Unfortunately not. You know how in Lord of the Rings they tried to do some camera angle magic to make Gandalf etc look bigger and the hobbits & dwarves look smaller? Well, Cove wanted to get Peter Jackson to do the same thing for them to make them look bigger but he wasn't available.

also, if you go to www.insidehighschoolfootball.com and register there, you can view numerous highlight clips of some garland games during the season, as well as other teams. There is a new clip up on that site for the Garland/Carter game, i love watching John Murphy light up that Carter reciever :)

Sarcasm or not, 12 points is all you need when you have a tough Defense. If you have a good defense you can win 3-0 and it wouldn't make a difference, it's a good win. Just cause we only scored 12 points on Carter doesn't mean our offense isn't productive. Carter is a BIG BIG team and it's defenity alot harder to win the match at the line of scrimmage against them. I wish I knew the stats on time-of-possession for that game.

If your trying to question whether Garland can score points, then believe me we can. In the first two games we were in more of a defensive struggle and didnt have many opportunities to score. IF we get into a shootout, we can score like the best of them; we just havent needed to thus far in the playoffs.

insidehighschoolfootball.com doesnt have any highlights of the John Tyler game, but GarlandOwls.com hopefully will have that game up soon. Video updates are needed on the team's website, they are a couple weeks behind at the moment.

Ewww, the words "Garland" and "shootout" are definitely words I don't like hearing together. I enjoy more defensive domination by the Owls and time consuming ball control by the offense. Thats the way all Owl fans like it :D

Judson, and beat them by a point. garland had 4 non district games. The only 4a team Garland played was Ennis, defending state champs, 9-1 in regular season, with the only loss to the "Owls". Of course Ennis is still alive, and Plano East and Carter went 2 deep. Garlands bad game of the year (so far) was the 5ot loss to DeSoto.

Exactly right. Cove should not talk until they walk a mile in our shoes... I personally don't think that they could handle the caliber of teams that we play! I can't wait to see the reaction of the Cove team when we beat them Friday! I think that they should all shut up before they put there foot in their mouths. Garland is a GIANT and if Cove can't figure that out... then they need to talk to a few other teams, and get their input on the subject.

has anyone else noticed how this game has turned most of the owl supporters into major trash talkers.... all these people that normally sit back and make smart comments have come out of the woods and started talking trash right along side of the cove supporters.........

I think Cove could handle the teams we play just fine... there is a reason Cove is in the third round. They have a good squad and will give our Owls as much as we can handle. The best team will win friday night, and we'll see who that is. Good luck to Cove.

sorry we aren't a rich school and don't we waste time with that crap and you can't deny that all of those plays are just the good plays you don't show the bad plays for oviouse reasons but that is why they are crap. Did you cahnge the encryption to gangsta or what?

If I had a Digital Camera, I would post pictures of Garland on this forum...the schol is not in very good condition, but it full of history (opened in 1900-ish)

Dude, chilllll - they are HIGHLIGHT clips. Therefore, they are some of the HIGHLIGHTS of games played from Garland's P.O.V...

They are not there to try to scare you or prove how good we are - I think the original post suggested that ya'll look at just so you could see what Garland looks like.

Take an asprin or something - it'll be good for your heart...

The video's aren't put up for scouting purposes, they are for entertainment value for Garland fans, so yes, they show big plays by Garland only. You can see what kind of things the Owls are capable of by watching them, though. I especially love watching Dante Sloan run and break countless tackles in the Ennis video.

I hope you DO know that Garland ISD coaches have been going to your games watching Cove play. We have game video from Cove games too... OMg.. Study our opponent? NOBODY DOES THAT. I hope you know how ignorant you made yourself look.

Like the earlier poster said the best team will win come Friday. Both teams have made it this far so they both are capable to pull out a win. I have to go with Cove just because I went there and my friend went to Naaman and told me stories about losing to Garland. Just want to see if they were really that bad as the score suggests. :p Good luck and Everyone have a safe trip to and from the game.

haha yeah and until this summer some of the carpet was that old. :p you know where Garland's priorities are when they'd rather make improvements to the fieldhouse than fix the leaking roof of ghs. luckily now they've done both.
