And we have our playoff teams!! Congratulations to Madison, SV, Reagan, and Roosevelt for all your hard work and commitment to the game! We musn't forget how good the teams were who didn't make it this year! New Braunfels and Mac challenged the whole way and Lee put up some big numbers offensively! But the season isn't over yet. With one more week to play there is still a ton left to be decided. Literally every playoff team has a chance to end up 1, 2, 3, or 4. We've all beaten eachother and it will come down to the final games between Reagan and Madison as well as SV and Roosevelt! A great week and one of the most dramatic week 10's in recent memory on its way. Hold on to your shorts boys, this is going to be wild! But hey, in this district, who would expect anything less!?!
Week 9
Madison...36..Roosevelt...21
SV...35..Lee...21

Yep, the math gets all screwy but each team has both the chance to end up distict champs and the chance to be in 4th place. (and anywhere in between) Now that's a competitive district if I've ever seen one. This last week is going to be pins and needles for all four teams. Any team that winds up in 4th place will have beaten the district champs. Its craziness!

I'll go ahead and make my picks:
Madison over Reagan by 14
SV over Roosevelt by 3
...which would have the district decided like so:
1. SV (#1 D2)
2. Madison (#1 D1)
3. Roosevelt (#2 D1)
4. Reagan (#2 D2)
Personally I hope we beat Reagan and Roosevelt beats SV. That's not a homer pick or anything.:D

a must win week for all 4.
Mac beat New Braunfels.
Madison is found to be using an inelgible player since week 7.
Mac goes to the playoffs; Madison stays home.
(I just got to find a way to get Mac into the playoffs)

I might agree with you but SV lost to Reagan by 3, beat Madison by 10, and just this weekend beat LEE by only 14. I think Roosevelt will be in this one until the final tick on the scoreboard.

Again I was surprised that Roosy got 21 points I thought they would only get 14, so SV should roll in this one.

You guys were close. Just like NB (lost to Madison by 3, lost to Roosevelt by 5). Mac lost to Roosevelt and Reagan by 3. Doesn't get much closer than that when it comes to 265a. Literally 6 teams that could be district champs in other districts. Maybe the UIL should institute Lonny's 265a Rule! 6 teams are good, only 4 get in. We should get 2 extra playoff spots...am I right or am I right?

Remember those who do not go can catch SV vs TR on Fox Thursday night.
Should be a helluva game along with Saturday's matchup.

For Reagan to get district wouldn't that require SV to WIN as well as a Reagan win.
Because Roosy would have 2 district losses and reagan would then have tiebreakers over bother SV and Madison.

Yes. Any team that wins needs another team to help. No one determines their own destiny here. Reagan wins- they need SV to win, Madison wins-they need Roosevelt to win, SV wins-they need Madison to win, Roosevelt wins- they need Reagan to win.
Like I said, whoever wins district the 4th place team will have beaten them.

Who/what will be the difference makers in these 2 games?
Madison/Reagan- I think Madison's Defense will come up big but watch out for Walls in his last 265A contest! Don't think they can score enought to beat Madison though.
SV/Roosevelt- Home field-Jacob Brown has gotten better every game at QB and Taylor Cowart(Kicker) are the difference for SV!

SV will be the district champ with a victory over TR by at least 2 TDs.
Madison will beat Reagan. Game will be similar to the TR vs Madison game, close early with Madison pulling away to win by at least 2 TDs.
This will leave:
SV #1 seed D2
RR #2 seed D2
Mad #1 seed D1
TR #2 seed D1
Good luck to all 265 teams against 255. Another sweep would be sweet. :)

Bandido, I would guess Westlake will be Div. 1 #1 and Bowie Div. 1 #2. With Pflugerville Div. 2 #1 and yet to be determined ________ Div 2 #2. If Austin High loses, then this scenerio 1. Connally wins they're in. 2. If Anderson beats Austin High by 8 or more and Connally loses, Anderson is in. 3. If Anderson beats Austin by 7 or less, Connally's in no matter what Connally does. 4. If Austin High wins they're in. Anderson and Austin play Thursday night. Connally and Pflugerville play Saturday at The Palace on Parmer.

Sounds like the 265 is still a gauntlet.
Speaking of Roosevelt, I though we would've heard from Humpty Dumpty by now. Whatever happened to him?
