Tech has always had an amazing offense, you can't deny that. What impressed me was the defense they played tonight. Great game, congrats Tech fans, this is yet ANOTHER great college football game to witness.
OU sucks.
I think Tech will win the big 12 and make it to the NC. I think they will win too but we will find out later.
UT over Aggie by a lot.

Tech has to beat Oklahoma State next week, I don't count Okie Lite out of the running either.

they have to get past Baylor first and that prediction isn't really going out on a limb, is it?
BTW do you really care about what the score in the A & M game will be? The reason I ask is I always hear how the game isn't nearly as big to UT as it is to A & M

We've got Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Baylor, and (if we are fortunate enough fortunate enough) the Big 12 Championship. We should just look at next week and take it one game at a time.

I agree, If Tech wants to go to the Big Dance, they can't let up.

I don't really CARE what the score is, but I'd like to make up for the past 2 years.
To me every game is big, because on any given day you can lose

I didn't say they weren't looking ahead. I just said I think they will win out. Now that I've slept on it I don't think so, I think OU or OSU will take them down, but I hope for them to win out. It would be nice for Tech to win the NC. One reason being they are the first college football team I ever rooted for. I root for them every game I see them in, except UT. Plus if they won the NC we would have another "Hey see why Texas is better than (insert other state here)" Ha

I still can't believe it...
.............................. 1 play just one play...
It was a game of big plays and missed opportunities...for both squads.
If Tech lost, I felt like the whole game turned on that possession in the third quarter that started on the one foot line and we ran it three times. Then the next possession we went three and out while facing a 4th and 4. That was some of the most terrible play calling I've seen from Leach ever. i was furious.
Luckily, the defense plyed their best game of the season.
The offense made plays when they had to.
I watched the replay of the game this morning on ESPN Classic. tell me this- On the Crabtree catch, why does Earl Thomas not just way-lay Crabtree? he just ran by almost nonchalantly...My only thought was that he was avoiding a personal foul on the sideline hit or something. I could not figure out why he did not hit Crabtree...

this
I will say this.. I am less bothered by the fact that UT lost, than I am that the UT coaching staff blew the win... You cannot snap the ball with 20 seconds left on the clock on every play on that drive... You take the clock to 5-7 seconds and then snap it.... There was no doubt we were going to score... So you just have to make sure there is only a few seconds left.. Then its ball game over...
Good win for Tech... I dont believe they will beat OU though and possibly will lose to OSU...
Either way... we are in a pretty great spot.. Because I believe all in front of us will lose and even if all dont, I believe enough will... And UT could still get to the NC without winning the Big 12 championship, without even playing in it actually much like OU did a few years back... Watch it and see....

They do care... they just got beat by Odessa Tech and have to have something to brag about besides going to the furniture gallery.com bowl or whatever...
different rules apply for TU and their fans... they are obsessed with beating OU and win they win its the second coming of Jesus, but they lose to A&M or Tech and it doesnt matter....

I had a few thoughts but that certainly was one.
Three freshman DB's made errors in the last two plays that would have sealed the game for us.
Gideon and the dropped pass.
Brown, with terrible coveage.
and Thomas for not attempting the tackle.
We knew this was a problem going into the season and surprise it cost us the game. Hard to get real upset, when you realize these guys played [retty well in the third and much of the fourth and that the three of them will be around for three more years. Throw in A Williams and that's not so bad.

Texas won't be going to the "furniture gallery.com bowl or whatever". They'll be in a BCS bowl.

Lol UT will still end up in a good bowl game, if not the NC. It's funny that you say diff rules apply, then you say TU. Why do you have to do that, it is the University of Texas at Austin. So UT. Thanks.
OH BTW it's WHEN they win, not win they win.
