We haven't been talking smack. We have simply said that we have something in store for Cove. Everyone for Cove has been saying we have no speed, no defense, no offense, etc. Garland fans have shown nothing but respect for Cove. I have not seen one Garland fan say that Cove will be easily beaten, but Cove has given us no respect. If your team has the same attitude, your season will be over Friday.

Absolutely useless thread... people who talk smack will eat crow come friday night... just leave it at that. No need to make an entire thread about it. Good luck to Cove, we'll see what happens against my Owls.

I mean your offense is really not that impressive Cove has scored over 100 more points than Garland and for all your talk about your defense you have given up more points than COVE. That's not disrespect just stating facts as you Garland fans can appreciate. :D

Seriously should be a great game between 2 good teams. May the best team win. ;)

The rankings, speed and all the other crap don't mean a thing. The men on the field settle this and we have no control but typing our buts off at 1:00 AM in the morning. Our days of playing are over so we resort to the keyboard to be heard.

It will be a good game, thats why i will be there and so will most of you guys. Hopefully the team that prepares and plays the best comes away with the win.

Be safe on your trip down.

After Friday we can see who wins this useless poll.

All in fun for most I do believe...will all be settled on Friday but a little smack before hand won't hurt. I will be at COVE North as well. Been fun at the last 2 games hope it continues ;)

Attitudes will change after this weekend! Most of you with a rational mind will see that Lufkin and SLC will be playing for the title.

Just took a little time for one of them to jump on the wagon again.

Everybody just needs to get through this week and then we can get ready for anouther round. It seems the trash talking from all the schools has picked up a bit since it has gotten closer to the bigger game.

I think some of these people make up new names just to stir up some ---- and they are not from either location.

EASY THERE MAN!!! One game at a time. You are fairly new in here so please don't make us look bad with your smack talk. And if you really knew about Lufkin Football and how the playoff brackets look you would know that "IF" we meet SLC it would be in the State Semi Final Round(5th) and not for the State Title in the 6th round. Not trying to be rude but just want to clarify things for you.

Yall have backed it up IMO, but Cove has won the smack talking award for the year. Their is nothing that any one smack talker from any other team can do about it, its final lol. I mean they blew our smack talking away and we can work up a mean smack talk ;) .

Yall have played teams with records such as 0-10 and 2-8(which took yall into overtime) i hope yall can put up big scores on teams like that.

Ya Waco lost all three nondistrict to state powerhouses and lost in district to us, AMC, Heights and Shoemaker, all playoff caliber teams. And we didnt play an 0-10 team by the way. I like how u look at peoples nondistrict schedules and say they are no good. Didnt yall lose games you "werent suppose to lose."
Ya Waco took us to 3OT's but didnt we win? Great teams find ways to win in adverse situations and that what Cove has done 2 times. Waco, HH(down 24-21 in 4th, win 35-24, and AMC(no offense(140 yds) win 21-14 with 2 defensive td's)
