A&M wins 24-17. Big plays on both sides of the ball. Trent Hunter is AMAZING. A&M is lucky to have him.

Ags proved they are a big-play capable team. Need to win 2 out of last 3 games to make a bowl.

God himself could suit up for the Ags and they would still fall to OU and Texas.

Ags really will not let this go, will they...Come on, cut us a break. It's the 2 biggest games we've won in the last 5 years or so.

I think one of the biggest problems for the Ags, aside from recruiting, is they hype the Texas rivalry WAY too much. Personally, from what I've seen in the last few years, A&M has let all their focus fall on beating UT. Which, to football prospects, is NOT a huge deal.

That's my two cents.

it blows my mind that a team that bad at the beginning of the season could play in a bowl game.

there is a lot of youth there, and i will go out on a limb and say whoever A&M draws in a bowl game if they go, will get beaten by the Aggies. They have come a long way this season and they are still working at it when many squads would have given up. Hard to ask for more than that.

gotta say that I am proud of both the Raiders and Aggies this year. The Aggies are showing progress and the Raiders are finally playing up to their potential.

Hard to say if they are improving or not. HAven't seen either of the last two games, but they let Iowa state score their highest point total of the season against them and the box from the CO game was pretty ugly.

I expect ou to score a ton on them, but real interested to see how the a$m offense does against an ou D giving up a ton lately.

Get back to me next week reagrding improvement.

We only managed 14 pts against Arkansas State. Improvement on the offensive side, no doubt whatsoever.

AL only put up 35 on them.

And? ULaLa put up 28. You admit you haven't watched the games, there is no doubt that the offense is much better than the mess it was against Arkie State, Miami, Army, even NM.

you cannot say they've given up either, and being down at half to Colorado was a gut check for that squad. Some of the young uns are starting to see the game a little bit slower... and that's got to be pretty heartening for Aggie football in general.

The AL reference was one backing up your point more than mine.

They may be improving. I listened to a little of the third quarter in the car and just saw the final. I figured the stats would be better than:

94 rushing
214 passing

This CO team is playing terrible right now as is I State. They may be improving, it's just hard for me to tell how much.

Even if they get rolled by ou, which will happen, I am curious to see how their offense performs. That's my only point.

the focus for A&M is not Big 12 Title or anything close... its win each game from here on out and improve... that was basically the season motto after that first "game"

I was at the first game... horrible.

from what I've seen they have improved by a ton. And thats a good sign. As long as they keep improving, that is a GREAT sign for next year, and the year after...and so on...

They are playing well and are not as sad as once thought...

I owe my Aggies an apology. After the Army game, I pronounced that was the last game they would win for the season. Twice, thus far, they have proven me wrong.

I think they stand a chance against Baylor. If they can get SOME sort of offense going, that is. The throwing it down the field and hoping for something to happen CAN win a game (see the Colorado game, AND keep in mind CU had(?) the BEST pass defense in the Big 12 at the time), but they HAVE to get a running game going, and block better period!

Against OU? Ehh, Ummm, Doesn't look good. Aggies seem to play intimidated against OU, since that 77-0 slap down.

Texas? While I love to think anything can happen (and it can), I have to be realistic here. Again, until the Ags have better blocking up front, thier offense is too sporadic.

Hmmm. Got to say still not sold on a$m being very good on offense at this point.
