Baby and I were on the fone a little bit ago. Talking about my high a$$ rent for this little cracker box apartment. We are going to start looking for house a month or 2 before my lease is up. We will also be married by then. Meaning that I will have to fight to think for myself and make decisions.
I told her that I have a list of goals and she can either participate or sit back and watch the fun because I am doing some things no matter what. She didn't really have anything to say about that..Good. In my book, that means she is ok with it.
First: I want to, at some point in next 10 years, own my home. 10 years because I don't want to rush into buying a house when I may not like living in Texas. But anyway, I want a log home. She is kool with that.. But I don't want a typical log home, I want a log castle. Lots of people have log homes, lots of castles are out there.. I don't think I've ever seen a log castle. I want one.
Next: Next, pegboard walls. Why worry about filling in holes if you move something? If you have pegboard walls, holes are acceptable. She didnt comment on that.. Again, I assume she is ok with it.
Next: I want a big nasty 4wheeler for myself and something that she can drive around to watch me get stupid on. She was ok with that one.
Next: I told her I wanted to keep my magazine subscriptions because I enjoy reading them. 4Wheel&Off-Road, Polpular Science, Popular Mechanics, SOF, 2600, Playboy, 4WheelDrive, ShootersWorld. She caught "playboy" too.
Next: I told her we were limiting visits from her mom to 1-2 a year. No comment on that one...
Next: I want to own a little piece of paradise in Montana. She had too many questions about that one. So I just dropped it.
Next: What's wrong with a 20-something maid with a round butt?
*I'll get slapped in the back of my head for that one when she gets here Wed.
Next: She has her desk and computer. I have mine. She said that was fine because she hates how my stuff is set up.
Next: I am not allowed to "tarp-up" the balcony to create another room. Go figure that one???
Next: I still get to keep my "Hellraiser" and House of 1000 corpes' Action figures. She said that was great, but they can't stay on my mantle? WTF?
Next: My mammoth stero system. She said: headphones.
This is all a bit odd. She even said something about not keeping my boots in the living room. With most of my clothes. She said that I should dress in the bedrood like "normal" people. I see no problem with posting here, cooking/eating eggo waffles, watching FoxNews, and getting dressed at the same time. That key hanger thing.. I thought that was for decoration. I didn't know I was s'posed to actually use it. The painted up decorative bottle thing on my bar is not a sunglass holder...The hell it ain't. It is holding them currently. Clothes go IN the dresser, not on it.
I just don't understand all this stuff. If I am evil, where was the attraction to start with? My gotee has always been long. Why do I need to trim it?
She came at me earlier with the jawdropper of all time. College. I tried to explain to her that I dropped out of school for a reason. I hate it. She counters with "I should be making enough money for you to cut your hours back to 20 a week and go to college". What is that? Even worse, she says "Texas A&M has a very good Ag department". I'm pretty dumb, but I don't think I am dumb enough to attend A&M...
Ok.. So there.. I have vented.. Sorry guys, but I had to get it out...
