I don't know if there are very many Panhandle/South Plains posters on here, but I wonder how they view this matchup. Per. usually plays Am. Hi or Am. Tas. in its pre-dist., but now Per. is part of the Pan. /S. Plains dist. It seems odd playing Tas. in a dist. game. I really don't know much about Tas. this yr. I guess Per. has to be a heavy favorite, but everybody plays Mojo tough (we just seem to bring that out in opponents), so you never know how things will go. It's a pretty long road trip for Per.

I'll be listening in Pearland (grew up in Odessa...played in the "system"...graduated from Permian).

Although Pearland is doing awesome this year...I still listen to Permian when I can :)

As usual Permian Defense is not in the game early.

Oh. Amarillo is 2-6 on the season !!!

15-8 Permian HALF. We were trying to be cute on O the first qtr. I think we're getting in gear now.

The penalties were killing us, It was something like 14 for 125 yards(I lost count). The officiating was horrible in the first half but got a little better in the second but not by much, I cant help but think that our coaching staff starts the D soft on putpose because they seem to do a 180 starting in the 3rd.

Anyway congrats on the win guys, The next game is a long trip for me as its exactly 12 miles to Grande Stadium from my front door here in Odessa.

I listened on radio. Per. got a whole lot better in the 2nd half. Seems like Per. has to get angry 1st. No opponent is going to let Per. roll over them w/o putting up a fight. All teams play us harder than they would anybody. I'd like to see us get after somebody in the 1st qtr., though, & not wait until the 2nd half to put teams away. Anyway, I'm glad Per. got the win. I know we had injured players that didn't play any, but injuries are just a part of the season; a good team has to overcome any obstacles that crop up. Congrats to the players & coaches for cowboyin' up when they had to. 2nd half adjustments were great (as usual), but the penalties were far too many. Too many turnovers.

Give it up to Sherard Ray, he breaks the regular season rushing record for MOJO with 1580 yards. Lots of greats on the list he bested. Imagine if they centered the game plan around him?

Amen. It's almost criminal the lack of attention this young man is getting.

our strong running game will help in the Playoffs .. We are explosive but we play real good smashmouth ball to.

The O and D line coaches for UT were there and it looked like they were taking notice of Sherard Ray, It was a good game and we had a good turn out for such a distance.

As far as the fumbles go it seemed as if everyone who touched it had issues hanging on.

Trevor lost it in the opening drive and bobbled it several more times.
Sherard lost it once.
Alan bobbled it on a reverse numerous times but was able to hit Trevor for a TD.
Numerous bad snaps.

Our D looked better though, It's all comming together.
