What has to happen for CP to make the playoffs??? They looked pretty impressive against Westwood.

For starters, they have to beat Leander...probably by a couple of TDs to ensure they don't miss out due to a potential tie-breaker formula. If that happens, most likely CP is in. Still, so many things could happen in the last 2 weekends to change everything.

T'wolves looked hungry tonight, started off with a TD early, then traded punts (ugly) and stalled drives until Dedrick turned a little swing pass into a 57 yard TD run for a 14-0 halftime lead. Dedrick had another spectacular night, although against a fairly mediocre defense and the offense mixed up the run and pass just enough to keep Westwood off balance. Dockery had some crushing runs and looked like he wanted to punish tacklers.

Russo's passing numbers look decent on paper, although only two completions were thrown downfield (to backs Cloud and McKnight) and none completed to any WRs, mainly just to backs on screens, flares, etc. One bad overthrow to Cox might have easily been a TD. O-line seemed to have trouble with pass protection but made up for it with their dominating run blocking. Black Rain shut down WW's offense for the most part all night.

That explosion for 21 points in the 3rd quarter was huge!!! The insurance TD in the 4th quarter really put it away. Most interesting play happened on an attempted on-side kickoff by W'Wood - the ball hopped right into Darby's hands so he took it down the sideline, almost "to the house".

Bring on those kittens from Leander, it's time to skin a few of 'em since there's more than one way to...

Better to re-visit this subject after tonights match ups, but I'm pretty sure we would be happy with a Georgetown and McNeil loss.
