What do you guys think about EP franklin

coming back from a 28-0 deficit and beating summit?

dont know anything about them dont here alot about football played that far west. but take it they have tons of heart and great coaching not to just fold up and let summitt keep beating them.

the other hand is that if they get down by 28 to any other team left in the playoffs they are done and finished. I think they got trinity this week. if they do that then it may get ugly real fast and they may have to speed up the clock in the second half

Great come back to win, but Summit is not Euless Trinity. I am sorry to say that your long trip to Dallas brings an end to your season.

Summit got used to getting high up on opponents this season in the weak district 4-5A. They only played this one for 12 minutes and that is why they lost. And EP Franklin will again get down 28-0 next Saturday as well, this time they won't come back, not because they don't have the players but because Steve Lineweaver knows they've done it once and won't take any chances.

As far as EP Franklin goes, I would say they would be probably a 3rd place team in 4-5A, they might be able to beat Richland in 5-5A but thats it, they would battle with Grand Prairie for last in 6-5A, 7-5A they would probably go 0-8(I don't think they could beat Sam Houston but maybe Martin), 8-5A they could probably finish 6th beating Lewisville and The Colony. But they are no where near the caliber of all but very few of the Region 1 Division 2 schools or the Bottom Half of the schools of Region 1 Division 1(Fridge, Trinity, Arlington, PE)

Good for Franklin. El Paso hasn't had a team advance this far in 20 or 30 years. They always got whipped up on by Mojo or Lee. :)

i was there yesterday at our game. the defence only played for 12 minutes. they got there, got up and choked. a really dissapointing way to end a season. a very long bus ride home too. there is no way Franklin beats us on a day that we come to play. no way they beat trinity. not to sound bitter, but that is the way it is.

Shows how much heart the kids at your school have. How the hell do you "not show" up for three quarters of Texas High School Football?? Admit it Summit got manhandled for 3 Qrts. 41-10 is a whipping in any football field.

I didnt think Franklin had a chance against Summit, and I dont think they have a chance against Trinity. Hopefully those kids dont have the same attitude.

I was at the game yesterday as well.

If you contain #12 and #32 of Mansfield Summit your chances of winning against them were good. Franklin didn't do that at first but later especially in the 2nd half were able to contain them. Mansfield Summit's defense looked downright terrible yesterday. Franklin has some talent no doubt about it.

Euless Trinity is definitely the favored but I think it could possibly be closer than most people think.

Euless Trinity wins but I would like to see Franklin pull off the upset.

they did get manhandked i will admit that, but dont question the heart of my boys. they came of the field and they were bawling, there were tears rolling down all their faces, they knew they blew it. you can say that they got beat or didnt play well or whatever it is you want to say, but never question the heart in a football team.

The thing is that all you need to do is control Franklins' Torres and Downer and you stop their offense as well. Im rooting for franklin but when I read THEY chose to go to Texas Stadium I thought it was a big mistake, its too far for them to go for a game at this point in the playoffs, a neutral site would have been much better.

I am suprised about all the threads about Franklin that showed up here, I dont think I have even seen a thread about anything El Paso here in almost a year. I know we don't usually make it far in the playoffs but we used to have to play the LSWC first round, back when Permian and Lee were powerhouses.

I don't think about EP Franklin. I don't think about anything to do with EP in general. That's not about to change now.
