So this is my curiosity, but lets say stony point wins its first playoff game. Do they even have a chance against The Woodlands or Spring Westfield?

I would say yes. SP has a ton of athletes.

according to one website, if the season ended today, Stony Point beats Langham Creek then loses to The Woodlands. Who eventually loses to Euless Trinty the eventual 5A Divison 1 State Champions. I've seen Stony play, can't say I agree with that scenario. Meaning Stony is really that good and IMHO grossly underrated.

Stony Point has no chance to get past the 2nd round
signed everybody that picked Temple, Klein Forest, Dallas Carter, Longview and Abilene to beat Pville last year

amen to that. after watching Pflugerville last year and Stony this year, I have to say they are at least dead even, with Stony's defense being the better of the two.
Ya'll heard it here first. The Tigers are for real.

Yeah they're legit - and have as good a chance as anybody at being this year's cindarella.

Hopefully, everyone underetimates SP. They would probably like that. No one is unbeatable.

P-ville had depth at RB, SP doesn't have 2 QBs or RBs the equals of the starters and these guys have been banged up.

I have seen SP play this year and was up close and personal with what it takes to make it to the State Championship game out of Region II last year. SP saw some of it last year too. Question, is SP better this year? Defensively I would say yes. Offensively, I'm not sure. They had a great OL last year and this year's bunch is not as good. The backfield is the same with more experience. I have a man crush on McKissic and would want him to lead my team any day. He currently isn't healthy but hopefully will be by playoffs. I really like SP but am a little worried that their OL might not be able to create the spaces when facing a big defense. But heck yeah they have a good chance to go deep! I'm pulling for them big time. Oh yeah, they have a great coaching staff with playoff experience. Rest up and be ready.

SP vs Westfield = good game
SP vs The Woodlands = Blowout for The Woodlands

Stony Point can go as far as they want to. The Woodlands just doesn't match up speed wise, and in real football, they will be the difference.

Stony Point is going to need to cut down on the snaps over the qb's head... and penalties... I wasn't impressed when I saw them play McNeil... The QB was good... but nothing really impressed me...

Yea I believe SP has a really good chance of going deep into the playoffs. Mainly because of all their athletes. They have really good athletes, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Their D Line are beast. I don't think any team will be able to match their athletes. To go far they have to stay displine and play smart.

The earlier poster was correct. If it goes how all is expected to then Stony Point will be playing Langham Creek in the first round of the playoffs. However, it could potentially be Cy Falls or Cy Springs as well, if one of those two teams pull a huge upset. This is for the district that Stony Point will be playing in the first round.

This game was a very sloppy game for both SP & Mcneil.
The Woodlands scores more points and allows less points on defense. The big question is how the competition for both teams compare. Does anyone know how strong The Woodlands competition has been?

But the back up QB is really good too. We've seen him play. He is a TE or WR as well so he can run.

I would agree with all of this. Luckily i feel that our OL is getting better.

I think I'd have to say it'd be a good game. The Woodlands give up very few points, but they don't play in of a district as tough as ours. Our district is one of the best in texas. It's just so comkpetitive. Every year we have like every team but one or two battling for playoff spots in week 9. Last year everyone said Westfield would just Blow us out, and it was a terrible weather game, and SP couldn't pass like they normally could, but we still kept it close. I think as long as they don't get cocky and over look anyone they are gonna go into playoffs with a nice 7 game winning run.
