Great effort by Plano tonight. Leaps and bounds better overall play than last week. Still to many turnovers with 4. However Plano's defense held SGP to 179 total yards and had 4 takeaways. SPecial teams gave up 1 big play on a 98 yard kickoff return other than that SGP could not move the ball. NO running game period.

Many posters picked Plano to lose becase of lack of speed and athletic talent. and SGP had big play potential with their playmakers. Plano SHUT THEM DOWN!!

Offensively Plano had 350 yards plus in offense over 200 yards rushing and two big passing touchdowns. Jordan wore down SGP with 135 yards on 27 carries. SGP had no running game at all all night.

GREAT GAME> VERY entertaining. However, Plano is not overrated. Hopefully we can get by Midland and slc can get by Abilene. Then we get the match up Plano has wanted all year.

TO be the best you got to beat the best. Got to give props to slc they are pretty saltythey toyed with Allen like they were playing a JV team. Hopefully Plano can stay with them if they get by Midland which is no easy task.

What do you mean SGP had no running game tonight? That was the only thing they had any success with. I know they tried to pass the ball several times, but none of us could remember if they ever completed a pass to their own guys. Did they? What were their passing yards for the game? I'd be shocked if they got more than 50-60 passing yards tonight. They pretty much fell apart after half-time. Plano had too many mistakes again, but the good news was that SGP had even more!

If was a really good game tonight and we'll be cheering for Plano next week! Don't know if I'm ready for the 200 miles trek out to Abilene though.

The way SLC is playing they should beat Plano by 3 touchdowns. Plano would be the underdog no doubt. We will worrry about that after the Midland game. FOCUS is on the BullDogs.

I really enjoyed this game. I stayed after our game (Trinity) planning on staying til the half. I'm glad I stayed!!! That #81 and #37 on defense for Plano are studs. Also Plano had a TD called back or the score would have been worse! Plus the little dude at qb for Plano needs 2 phone books to see over the line , but got the job done. Good Luck the rest of the way! :D :D

After the game on GP's radio station, they stated that there were some calls by officials missed that would have helped SGP. I think there were calls made that did help and hurt both teams. I am very happy that the ref's let the kids play and decide a good game.

Bringing up that point. They need to get the 80 year old refs off the field. They made some horrible calls for both sides of the ball. Tons of big penalties were not called.

We need to ghet by Midalnd first then we will address the SLC matchup, assuming they get past Abilene.

I predicted before the playoffs began that SLC would be upset by Abilene. This will not be a cake walk like the Allen or IMAC game Abilene is legit.

I don't know for sure if they will win nor do I have have stats to back it up, I have a gut feeling this game will be close or could even be an upset.

If all the SLC fans stay focused on what they are going to do to Plano then they might not get that chance.

We will talk in a week maybe!

I have to admit I thought SGP would win, but I certainly didnt consider it any kind of upset that Plano won. Congrats to Plano if any team may be worthy of the underrated tag it would be Plano, they just do whatever has to be done to have more points than their opponent at the end of the game.
