View Full Version : i just exhaled
then i read the topics here and remembered CRAP! we play sand aggy next :(
someone needs to send some alka-seltzer down to the valley STAT!
okie lite played a hell of a game, and DAMN! can that running back play some ball, i was more impressed with him then dez (here come the lufkin nation to flog me). i think okie lite has a major chance of beating the land thieves this year.
i saw that sand aggy put up 63 on chicken hawk aggy today before i changed the channel, and all i kept thinking was "is chicken hawk aggy that bad on defense?" then i remembered, they lost to USF this year.
as is every week, bringing pressure with the front 4 will be the key to stopping (or more, containing) the passing game, but with sand aggys huge line, i have my doubts. i swear if you were to arrange that 0-line you could build a house for a family of salvadorian immigrants to live in....
anyway, it's too early for my prediction on next weeks game. im just gonna be happy that the 'horns are #1 for atleast 1 more week.
HOOK 'EM!

no. mine is about me about to lose my mind with this schedule. it's too much for 1 team. if texas were to go undefeated (knocks on wood), i would consider getting mack browns face tatooed on my face.

I quit "worrying" about the outcome of the games a couple of years ago and just enjoy the games. The Okie Lite games have probably taken a few years off my life, but they are enjoyable.

i say that every week, then i can hear a poster or 2 here in the back of my mind dribble off some things that would make hellen keller go "huh?".
honestly, if texas loses to sand aggy i won't be that upset, except havingto hear loony and dawgfan (moral victory). but if we drop one to bible aggy im gonna go apeshit, i swear.

You have absolutely no control of the outcome of the game. Enjoy football for the great game it really is

horsechit. Less than 2 seasons ago we witnessed the KSU meltdown that made Jim Mora blush...

That "meltdown" had nothing to do with the game and you know it.

The game was a trigger. Certain posters actually caused the meltdown. And a Chernobyl size meltdown it was.
You know what I was thinking about the other day? The great Texas Tech VD thread with wide. We could never have that thread now.:(

OK...
Patronizing a weak KSU squad that embarassed Texas had nothing to do with the game.

I think that stuff is hillarious.
I don't hide my appreciation for Wide, and I love to discuss games/ rivalries/ misc with people that will actually bring some substance to the discussions. a well placed jab will make me laugh a couple of days later if the subject comes up again.
prez, JTK and HUm are hornsfans that I will talk with anytime. i don't mind the Tech jokes, because for a joke to be funny, there has to be an element of truth to it, and unfortunately there is some truth to the VD stuff. to say differently is just blind denial. luckily, that's one tradition I didn't participate in.:D
I would be lying if I didn't admit that I am constantly trying of thinking of ways to get Wide reinstated, whether it be a bet, a fundraiser, some type of "probation period." I miss what the guy brings to the table.
I think in some of our political/ social discussions that we have had in the past six-months, we would be hard pressed to find someone with the same background and experience in life that Wide has had. that is why I feel like the pros outweigh the cons as far as his reinstatement goes. His sense of humor would be a riot also.
Anyway,it's all water under the dam now, so why worry??
even in Tech-UT week, I miss the wideyman...
