Region II - Berkner by 1
Region III - Westfield by 21
Region IV - Judson by 4

The only questionable Region in either division in my opinion is Div II Reg 2. Cove might be able to knock off lufkin, but I wouldn't bet against the pack's experience

Not looking past Garland, Cove fans want a match up with LUfkin to settle some of this crap.

Right now though our focus is our game against Garland. Gotta get past them and Lufkin has to win to get that match up.

You cannot say until you see them at the game. SV and Katy are the only two teams that have faced SLC in the last 3 finals. 2 of those years, SV beat Katy or the team that beat Katy (in OT). SV is the closest loss to SLC in the past 3 years and Katy is the only team to beat them. They are both consistently excellent teams. I see them playing a very close game against each other, and then the winner going and playing an extremely close game with SLC or very possibly Lufkin.

Good points there sing! This thread is a liitle early to be counting the chickens before the eggs are hatched. On paper it certainly points to these four making the finals. We have two weeks left to get to that point, so, Katy will just focus on their next opponent and work on that game. It must be won to get to the region final! We can talk all that other stuff if it becomes reality.

I think the more accurate statement is that unattached fans would rather see SLC face Katy than see them beat SV for the 3rd time in 4 years. The fact that Katy played SLC and beat them speaks volumes about the program. Given 2 chances to do the same thing, SV has fallen short.

SV is very capable of beating slc. The first year they played them they were not at the same level as slc, but last year the game could have easily gone the other way and i think the slc people will tell you the same thing.

It`s like the ap poll,no respect.Thats the way we expect it.We dont sneak up on any one close to home.These teams know that they have to play there best of the year to beat SV.But, on the state level we cherish the flying under the radar.

you know Lufkin has not played like the old lufkin the past 2 weeks of the playoffs and we have won. so imagine if Lufkin plays like they can better this team is dangerous. and if we get by SG and play Garland or Cove then that game is going to be a battle both teams can play. i see if we play Garland a tight D game low score.

either or that is just saying we still got to beat a Very Good SG team that beat LONGVIEW so that right there has Lufkin attention and not worrying about anything else. but us as fans can look ahead and think about matchups all we wont but the players and the coaches got to worry about one game at a time.

These teams are evenly matched, but it's in Irving and Berkner has been playing great defense. A&M loses by 14.

It's not fair Cy-Fair is going to get beat so bad. Westfield by 35.

Harlingen lost by 23 to Reagan, who lost to Judson by 25. Judson by 28.

SLC outlasts Abilene and then beats Midland by about 2 TD's.

Lufkin beats Cove by 3 to get to the semis.

Katy by at least 3 TD's in the next 2 games.

lufkin has not played there best game of the playoffs so far. not to take away anything from the last 2 wins but we have not played that good so far like we can play. that is what makes a team so great when you win well you could have won by more. you want that attitude about your team. no win is good enough yet no team has played there best game tell they get that gold ball that trophey in the State championship then they have played there best game and took the prize.
