This game will be no contest AT ALL. 3rd consecutive opponent in the playoffs that is mediocre at best that the Trojans will face. So lets see how bad it will be. My prediction:

Trinity - 63
El Paso Franklin - 0

Halftime:

Trinity - 63
El Paso Franklin - 0

I would set the over/under at 40 depending on when ET puts in the scrubs.

Huh? This is El Paso Franklin, in the weakest district in Region 1 and one of the weakest in the state. They beat a weak 4-6 San Angelo Central team, then come off and get lucky against a Summit team that padded its win total in the 2nd weakest district in Region 1. I'm sure Grand Prairie would be a contender for 1st in district 1-5A at LEAST. Their only loss is to a not-playoff-caliber Lubbock Monterrey team in Week 2.

I bet they flipped home and home. I still think that they probably should have played in Ratliff or the new Midland stadium

BIG MISTAKE - EP Franklin playing Trinity at Texas Stadium. It will be hard for Franklin to adjust to the atmosphere, noise, and the field's crown.

And Time Difference? El Paso is on Mountain Time! Joking aside - I do not like travelling East on business. That one hour seems to kill me. Trinity by a huge score. This will be won by the end of the first quareter, just like yesterday.

That "not-playoff-caliber Lubbock Monterrey" took unbeatern Abilene to OT.

Trinity played a very good game vs PESH. After a couple of weeks "off", looked like the team we've come to expect as far as execution and ability to dominate. They will need every bit of that "focus" for anyone on the other sideline. There is a reason they play the game between the white lines. What is says on paper and what the results should be aren't necessarily what happens between the white lines. Would someone like to ask Summit how easy a game it is against Franklin?
I honestly hope and feel Trinity is back in stride and looking for a great playoff run.
No matter what, no team can afford to take someone lightly, especially in the playoffs... There is a reason Franklin is still here... I don't expect Trinity will make the mistake Summit may have made after jumping out to such a large lead. I'm sure Dallas Woodrow Wilson learned that lesson against Wylie also didn't they.

I don't think so. Franklin is not a top team, but they are still pretty good. I say Trinity by 28.

Franklin has a couple of kids that are capable of taking it to any team in texas. Im not saying they are going to win but it will be alot closer than most people think.

They may have good players, but anyone who thinks they are on the same level as, say Fossil Ridge, Plano East, or any team in division 2 doesn't know high school football. Summit showed that they can be destroyed if they just come out and play for 48 minutes instead of 12.

Regardless of what many of you think about El Paso football, Franklin got to this point in the playoffs legitimately, and if Trinity takes them way too lightly, something can go very bad for them. Summit took it easy when they had a four touchdown lead and look what happened to them. I am going for Franklin, regardless of whether I think they will win or not, I actually thought they were going to lose to Summit but look what happened. I do not really like Franklin either, our schools do not exactly get along.

The only stupid thing I think they did was ask for Texas Stadium, so many El Paso teams want to get their so badly that they dont think it out all the way. If they went for a neutral place (Grande, Ratliff, somewhere West Tex.) They could really get a lot of fans out their, now that all but 1 4A team are out of the playoffs. Over at Texas Staduim they might have a couple while for Trinity it might as well be a true home game when you compare fans.

EP Franklin has no hope. period. with the kind of football we were playing yesterday, they should have won by more than 3 points. the combo of them having to come all the way here and them just not being all that good will equal complete trinity domination. they should have gone for nuetral territory, the new stadium in midland is NICE.

I will be so surprise if Euless Trinity lose to El Paso Franklin on the other side of the state. Euless Trinity has dominent offense beside Southlake Carroll, Spring Westfield, and North Shore.

Probably who they lost to and how they lost. I among many others expected Summit to win by 5 touchdowns at least. They won that one, and now their reward is a date with Trinity. Someone said it before, even the most pessimistic Trojan fan has to be thankful for the 3 games they have gotten in the playoffs so far.

BHS06 2...if youweren't so jealous it wouldn't be so funny. You can't stand it because not only di Trinity totally clean your clock, but the low class that your team and band showed at the game shows your true colors. Why don'y you get a Kool-Aid, take a seat in front of Sesame Street, and do your homework. Get a life and wait till next year. Then you can watch from the stands and get just as pissed and jealous.

New to the forum here but have lurked around for months. Trinity's going to be tough no matter who plays them or where they play. EP Franklin, well my hats off to you folks. Your kids have allot of heart and they don't know about the word "Quit".. your football team and fans are a class act.. I wish you the best against Trinity.. Trinity!! if ya'll are smart you better not look past this game..

ET has to be favored, but I would not count my chickens before they hatch. I am told the Franklin can throw the ball and I have seen ET's very average secondary.

I hope them Franklin boys smack Trinity in the mouth. Just like they punk'd them Summit boys last week. I would have to say the Metroplex got somewhat of a black eye last week. Now all Franklin has to do is go for the Nads.
