Is it too soon to start speculating about this one? Bulldogs (7-1, 7-0 District 2-5A) at Bronchos (7-1, 6-1). If Midland wins it will likely set up a showdown with Permian for the district title. If OHS wins, it could create a 3 way tie for the championship if Midland could pull off the upset of Permian in the last week of district play.

I see OHS winning this one in a close, high-scoring game, then losing to Midland Lee in the final week of the season. (Watch out for the Rebels. Looks like they are coming together at the right time.)

We've played them both. I'll go with OHS, however Big Red is going to have to play some D-E-F-E-N-S-E at some point. I would love to see OHS go to the 3rd round of the playoffs, but they need for their defense to step up to get them there.

I keep hearing that there's just not enough depth on the team and the D gets worn out. Come the playoffs, we better bring up the best of the JV and plug them in if it'll help. :eek:

I thought only Abilene high games were allowed to have a 90 point over/under line?:D

I think the Chos pull this one out. Teegarden is a good little QB and I hear they have a good RB as well.

This one will be interesting. On the one hand, you have a team in OHS that jumps to big leads and seems to barely hang on in the end some weeks. On the other you have Midland High who has made a season out of coming from behind and winning nailbiters. I think this one will be high scoring, and the Bronchos will hold on to win by stopping a late 2 point conversion or something. It will be a good one though.
