Hey Lonny you are famous. :D :D :D

This was lifted from the RGV board.

Harlingen is being overlooked on the 5a board. Someone has already started a Judson vs. Spring Westfield thread. Another guy(lonny23) said this:
"Next up, the Arizona, er Harlingen Cardinals!"

My personal thoughts are that they might be better than other Valley teams. but they'll still get beat.

It's just the normal trash talking I do! :D

This might be a better game than you think, Judson is not by any means as powerfull as it once was, will it be enough to tough to call.

I"m voting Harlingen, but only because my dad played for them in the 50's. In 2000, one of the Rio Grande Valley papers listed an all-time Best Valley Players by position. I was real proud his name was on there at Offensive Tackle. He went on to play for Rice.

It was a shame he had died a couple of years earlier. He'd have gotten a chuckle out of that one.

Go Cardinals!

Judson has just as talented kids as they've always had. In my opinion the problem all year has been these new coaches they brought in, especially the offensive coordinator. A perfect example was last nights game against O'Connor. Bouldin, the QB was easily getting outside the Panther containment and getting no less than 6 yds a carry, most of the time more. On 3rd and 3 or 3rd and 4 numerous times during the game they try running up the middle for 1-2 yds, then have to punt. Another example is how their using this Williams kid. He's a tall, fast receiver who makes big plays. I can count on one hand how many plays he was involved in. I think they should have kept more of the good coaches at Judson and let the new ones go to Wagner. Coaching is the problem with Judson this year, not the talent level of the kids. Go Rockets!!
