NS and Westfield

Congrats to the Westfield Mustangs. They did an awesome job and looked really good. And a job well done on North Shore for keeping up with a big plumped up experienced athletic team like Westfield. It still all turns out well and worth it. You can't go home crying when you loose to great teams. North Shore had it locked in and could put more on the board but WF wanted it a little bit more at the end and turned out their way. 35 returning players from this young NS team returning next year. Some big names in that 35. Should be an awesome NS team in 2006.

It was amazing though. Those two teams looked a like. They just clashed!

I do have to agree, Westfield deserved to win.... NS had thier chances but thats just how it goes sometimes.. somebody has to win... someone has to lose... thats just the way it goes.... hopefully NS will learn from this just as they did against madison for the following years.... westfield is powerful.. and may be the best team in the state.. but NS hung tough and had thier chances to win.. it was close going into the 4th quarter but hey... thats all you can ask for.. is to put yourself in position to win the game.. and NS had that... but.. i also am looking forward to what NS has returning.. this will be a very experience team and that bodes well for next season.. cant wait.. i wish westfield the best of luck.. they deserved to win.. and they should bring home the trophy..... :eek:

Northshore is a great team. As others have said it's unfortunate this game had to occur this early in the post season. In the first quarter I was thinking Westfield was going to doninate with the long drive and the NS 3 and out but then as champions so often do Northshore recovered and took over the second and third quarters. It was a great game with each side feeling like a victory was within reach. You guys are a class act both on and off the field.
I hope it was a positive experience for your seniors and wish them much success in their future endevors being proud to have been Northshore Mustangs.
